It was an interesting drama! The only complaint I have is you couldn't feel the chemistry between the main characters, and there wasn't enough build up for some of the character's actions. Also, there wasn't a lot of character development for the main couple. You learn a lot about Son Hae Young's backstory, but she never grows much as a person. Ji Uk, also had great potential but it was unfortunately missed.

However, I loved the side story! That story arc was well done. Loose ends were tied up, their connection felt real, and they both grew as people while pursuing each other.

I watched this drama while it was on-going, and it still holds as my favorite drama. The main couple's chemistry is apparent, and the gentle and yet tough-love they have for one another is realistic. They continue to support each other, even if they're mad at the other. Their relationship progression is natural, comedic, and heartwarming.

Another aspect I would like to dote on is the "love triangle" that is in the show for a bit. I typically- HATE-this trope, but this has been the only k-drama that I've watched so far that has made it work. The producers spoke against the "soulmate" trope, talked about missed opportunities, and put an emphasis on friendship.

One of my favorite parts of this show is how the side characters have meaningful development. You learn about their lives intimately, their struggles, fears, hopes, and aspirations. The town feels alive, and it's not just a backdrop to the show. What happens to the side characters affects the main couple, and the effects are felt longer than just that episode.
