I watched up to the 7th episode and it didn't got me. I am really upset, I wanna know why I didn't enjoyed it,…
I like the chemistry and the romance arc between the leads, but the industry stuff is kinda stupid and badly done IMO. Also, the pace of the show is a bit slow to me. Instead of the unrealistic industry portrayal, I wish they had fleshed out the 21 days arc of falling in love.
I don't understand Sorn's logic at all. I mean, he's traumatized because He almost ended up in jail because of…
In the book he says he only goes for older people because that way no one will ever be able to accuse him of taking advantage of someone young ever again.
He specifically doesn’t wanna date Jun because of the Tai connection. He sleeps with Jun because, well, he can’t resist lol
These guys are far better actors than Payu and Rain, and though this part is subjective, better looking too. The acting prowess is not even subjective, these guys are objectively better, esp Oat.
Starting in episode 4, I wished every time Jun would finally say NO! However, Jun clearly has a soft spot for…
Sorn doesn’t want to acknowledge his feelings for Jun for two reasons. A) he doesn’t want to date younger people because he doesnt want to be accused of taking advantage of their feelings and he doesn’t want drama. B) he doesn’t want Tai to know.
The fact that he is sleeping with Jun is because he just couldn’t help himself lol
He did tell Jun they were gonna be FWBs without feelings. Later on he admits that he has been in love with Jun for years, he’s just in denial.
Oat is such a great actor. He portrays Jun perfectly - fun, sweet, a little bratty but also emotionally mature. Having read the novel, he also captures Jun’s inner feelings so well.
Speaking as someone who doesn’t even like NC scenes much, this show is the most entertaining bl airing right now lol. The power of good acting, great chemistry ( even in non NC scenes) and likeable characters.
I won't lie. I find myself coming back to this show mainly for the chemistry between the leads. Otherwise, the…
What is so incoherent about the show though? It’s slice of life. So it’s just following two characters and taking the viewers through a few months of their lives.
Yes, the HR violations of the office are staggering, but otherwise the storyline makes sense, it’s just normal life.
Is it just me, or does this series feature an overwhelming number of characters? If you include Sun’s friends…
There’s dialogue where Sun says that he will get revenge on Junho after getting their power/territory back with Joe’s help. He’s playing along for now.
Sun's boyfriend died in his arms while kissing, Peace met him when trying to k!ll himself because of the life…
Uni and school BLs are still the most popular genre in the domestic and SEA markets. Gmmtv or other companies are not going to stop making the kind of Bls liked the most by their primary market.
not this againwhy the hell can people not enjoy 2 actors..instead of forcing and projecting their fantasies onto…
Every shipper thinks their personal favourite ship is special and real. They interpret every interaction or incident as “evidence” justifying that bias.
Actors’ personal lives have nothing to do with the quality of the series, which is what this forum is meant to discuss.
Its YAOI, what do you expect? :D Yama nashi, Ochi nashi, Imi nashi ("no climax, no point, no meaning"). This is…
The difference is that there is no hook to keep the audience engaged in this series. In My Stubborn everyone wants to see a) Sorn open up about his feelings and crash out about Jun, b) how the two of them actually get together.
For this series there is nothing interesting to look forward to.
The sets are so pretty, I want to live in the painting classroom in the university.
The rest of it is just kinda … bland? The direction lacks flair. There’s no weight to the characters, the story flows from one scene to another without contributing much to either plot or characterisation. It’s not as lighthearted as Princess Diaries yet there’s no emotional intensity either.
Right now I’m only invested in the Ramil/Paytai story, and they get 10 mins per episode, so that’s unfortunate.
Great start! Love that the pace of the story is so fast, other series can learn from this lol. Slow burn romance but fast paced storyline is the best combo.
Looks like Thada is repeating the time reset as well, right?
While I agree with some of what you wrote, I got intrigued by your comment that "lack of an interesting storyline…
High school love stories stories can have an interesting storyline. There needs to be a hook to make the viewers look forward to this show week after week.
Like MSP had the music contest and the long term pining. Love Sick had the will they won’t they dynamic, love rivals etc. Even Your Sky, which I don’t think is good, had the fake dating hook to keep audiences engaged.
For KimMon, my initial thought was that it would turn out Mon liked someone else and Kim would be heartbroken but start helping Mon get his crush, in the mean time Mon would fall for Kim due to his kind nature. For KitShane, the enemies to lovers bickering could be prolonged further.
Romance tropes are popular for a reason. Too fast buildup is just not that interesting, audiences need to see why a pair falls for each other.
Again, just RUMORS which no one knows if true or not, but it’s not about being sexually active.
But the chemistry and acting is great.
Maybe that’s why it’s not clicking for you yet.

There are many people who love uni/school bls. Well made fluff will always be loved and companies will continue to make them

He needs to give the fillers a rest, he’s been abusing them non stop for years.
