i thought it was just me! throughout the show, chen mo seemed to have had a crush on gao yunlang, the way he looked at gao was so suspicious… i was secretly rooting for them to be together (i just found out that in the novel, Chen mo did indeed have a crush on gao, I’m just unsure as to if they eventually did get together)

they start dating episode 22, no break ups, just a slow burn romance where it took quite long for them to confess to each other. it may sound confusing but there’s no love triangle technically. the guy somewhat involved in the love triangle plays a larger part in the career rather than romance plot. the side characters act maturely too and despite having been interested in the female lead/ male lead, they do end up giving them their blessings

they really never learn! it’s so annoying at this point, they earn millions from one drama and cannot do the bare minimum of paying taxes 😭song zuer’s team denied of the allegations recently but everything feels so suspicious … i guess we can only pray!

yes to a certain extent, someone important passed on but the fl and ml got married and had a kid. the person passing on was very random and sudden because it was only in the second last episode that his condition deteriorated

you are the apple of my eye! it is a 2011 high school movie that immediately made the 2 leads famous. there also ended up being a remake by korea and japan because the movie was super popular! like this movie, it's got the high school vibes, silly childish scenes, and is full of nostalgia

yep! andy lau, joe and jerry were probably there because they were part of the director's youth, so it was lovely seeing them towards the end... but a lot of people don't know joe and jerry starred in a lot of romance dramas in the past, so the nostalgia isn't there and they complain about the change of cast, which was a pity honestly

especially when everything you felt in the game was real, the emotions, the experience, the love, the care. and yet you’d never see these people again, you are the only one stuck with all these memories, because the NPCs are programmed to interact with every player in that manner 😭

this is definitely gonna be one of my favourite youth dramas 😭 the director always does an excellent job in getting the high school vibes !! the friendship and relationships are both amazing and i love the chemistry between the cast !! and the fact that they all trusted each other and supported each other when something bad happened ?? also, the fact that both guys are so different but ill love to have a boyfriend like either of them ? there are also literally things you can learn from all five of them and i love it ! :> not to mention, i love the titles of each episode, the recordings they include at the end as well as the little speech towards the end

this show was a remake of the a 2008 singapore production about the lives of nyonya in sgp,my,ind so naturally it has the vibes but i think it’s slightly different from the original ,feels like they are telling the nyonya story just by putting on their costumes and all that,the cast barely feels nyonya

but im worried about bailus position though…this might Be false but because bailu is unable to deny ,we’ll probably never know if they have dated or not,not that it’s that important … cuz bailu has another drama many are looking forward to and both dramas would most likely air next year,denying of this rumour affects this drama,agreeing affects that drama..she’s in a problematic position …im hoping that everything ends well and the drama turns out great because all the pics shared by the cast so far seems to show their chemistry and good relationship

like what crydollz has replied ,those were their dramas,and for wangxingyue,he played the villain in a show related to the show luomingjie starred as a villain in and i would have loved to see them work together because i think they were both mean to the fl in those dramas ,nevertheless,i appreciate shenyue and chenzheyuan!

☺️🫶i think most of us will be equally in love with the guys when the show airs because they are all very charming individuals, which explains why the female lead’s constantly in a dilemma,<33 i do hope the show will do the book some justice and allow everyone to fall in love with the characters 😚

Apparently the two of them weren’t supposed to be the leads,was supposed to be hanikezi and wangxingyue but they changed last minute and shenyue and chenzheyuan came to save the show ,im thankful for them 🥹🙏although i would love to see the two villains together …

I think it’s cuz like he recently gained popularity in his other show and he’s a rising star,many actors of this stage tend to have many female girlfriend fans so it’s upsetting ?? the industry’s a little toxic … and there might be people who dislike the female lead too

it’s not annoying,all three of the guys are popular among book fans because they’re very different but equally attractive,there’s one who grew up with the fl who is a very charming young enthusiastic person passionate about fl ,another who is rather cold on the surface but he loves fl deeply and they are each others muse,but the main ml is a dark deep cunning fox who is her teacher and is also very in love with her(personally I like her teacher because they’re the official couple)

Maybe try shows adapted from novels of the same author,her novels are known to be special,different,interesting
the legends,the blue whisper(already aired)
back from the brink,legend shenli ,love you seven times(these three dramas are either still filming or have just finished filming this year )

I wonder why is everything going so slowly like why is this show not allowed to air ?? feels like it’s been long … probably because it’s harder for them to edit when there’s history involved and it isn’t pure fiction ??

It’s definitely a very special summer for all the fans of this show !!

Yea In fact there were many problems getting sponsors because the cast weren’t extremely popular and all that ,but like what the director said ,This group of passionate people will definitely let this project gain the recognition it deserves !! Sincerity is really the key…i remember reading that the male lead only had to interact with the fans of the show for 30 mins but he ended up spending 3 hours commenting and thanking and showing his appreciation to the fans of the show … your hard work will be seen if you’re sincere enough and im sure the fans are more than satisfied with the cast.i think we can feel the love they have for each other too and that definitely contributed to the outcome

I can only say it’s a pity but this can’t be helped …hope there’s some way he can see the results of everything even if he’s not on this world already …
