love also be willing to let it go

It look like everyone who watch this movie a little bit confused about the story.
First, don't be confused with butterfly lovers, this movie isn't based on that folk story. Fang Hui or the director use that story for his movie but actually he want to make a trap for Lin Xi and Hesen.
It look like in the past, Fang and Lin is a couple but things not going well but Fang doesn't want to let Lin go.
Fang started to blackmail Lin and force him to be forever his actor in all his movies.
Lin meet Hesen and Hesen treat him very well and want Lin to be his lover. It make Fang angry and set a trap for Lin and Hesen by make them starring in his new movie. Fang record all Lin and Hesen activity including when they are making love. When Hesen knows about this, he really angry and try to kill Fang but Lin save him and die.
This movie is telling that if you love someone, you must ready to let it go too for your lover happiness. Trying to make it forever by your side it can be worst idea if your lover can't enjoy and not comfortable with it.
In my opinion, this movie probably shoot a long time ago but release for international via gagaolala in 2020.
The idea of this movie is good but in some point lack in execution. They can be good movie.
Honestly, I cannot rate this film as same as I rate films from other countries where the censorship is not as strict as on the mainland. I give my respect for everyone in this film because they still have the courage to make film that they want to make.

Once a brother always a brother

A beautiful family story, I am so glad I can watch this movie
The story of a father who raised his two sons from his two marriages. The eldest son who from the start was against his father's marriage hated his younger brother. The problem got more complicated when the father died.
Finally, I can see Beijing again as background story, most of China production right now has shanghai or other metropolitan city which doesn't have old China building on it
Also school uniform which remind me with Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin uniform
The story is simple but very beautiful
I recommend this movie to watch with all your family

I am not fan of J-Horror but I know some J-Horror movies. Basically, they told about karma, what you did that is what you will get. This series pop up last week into my Netflix recommendation series. Due to Netflix standard, I am hoping this series will be good. First episode looks good and promising this becomes horror series. And comes to second episode which makes me down and more confusing at the final episode. There is no continuation in story timeline. They jump from one story to another story. Voice over from episode 1 that tells this one is the original story make me confused because they not focusing on the house but how the house make impact on people. No explanation why the house become haunted and why their spirit trapped in that house and what happened with the first family who living in that house. Moreover, they didn't show a child in staircase, the iconic scene from Ju On franchise movie.

Love takes time

I watch this series because a lot of people in MDL says it great.
I don't like some scene at earlier episode like egg fries which slapstick and start enjoy at episode 6 but due to erupt ending at episode 8 make me feel down a little bit.
The story is good but need to more exploring and developing again. Some stories don't have ending or open ending make some point not delivered to viewers.
It look like point of this series on episode 7. For me, Vlad too much pushing Karl to come out. He should listen about Karl objection and convince him to not afraid about it. Saying people can see or judge you about your appearance your body language that can make judgement about stereotype is painful for some people. He should not say that to hurt Karl. Karl need more open about himself. Saying he not in love with Vald but he so jealous when Vlad still in contact with his ex. Karl is not in relationship with any men before. It is confusing time for him. He need more time to adapt situation. Too much problem that falls to Karl at the time. Having confrontation with his parents because he leave architecture then meeting Vlad which make him falling in love is new world for him.
At the end, for me, it look like they just a friend. No indication they step into relationship. I guess the director feels that the best way to end this series at the time. Season 2? I don't know, this series can end like that, no need to push them to be couple. Yes, they are in love, but need mature minded if they want to be couple.

Honestly, I know this series because I heard the OST at realty show, Na Yoon Kwon if it was me. Only storyline Cha Seung Hyun is capture my attention. Rivals brother Gun Hee and Seung Hyun should be nice but too bad they didn't explore it. Still doesn't understand why Yoo Bin also fall in love with Gun Hee...he still spoil rich kid until the end. Doesn't capable do anything. Yoo Bin know Seung Hyun lonely workaholic that's why she called Batman but why she doesn't know that Seung Hyun can't express his feeling. I think Japan, Bali and Tahiti as setting was waste. Storyline doesn't develop well.
I don't know why Yoo Bin's actress hairdo look a like song hye kyo at full house, is it popular hair do at 2004? But at 3 final episode her hair do make her look like ha ji won. And 3 main cast on this series was lack of chemistry. The music background not match for drama series.
In the end, the only thing I like is just Na Yoon Kwon song at this series.

I watch this series on Netflix Asia and I have mixed feeling. First of all, I feel sorry for all main characters here. They stuck into cul-de-sac situation, most all people around them are toxic person and can't get away. All characters have a sin even Tew who first want to investigate about his brother murder abandon his girlfriend and fall to Kate. Kate also not a good person, getting abuse from Chad because she like party and cheat with prostitute. Chad had mistress and affair with Raht. From all relationship, I choose Chad and Raht, this relationship is nice and doesn't have any hidden agenda. I really hate Jom, OMG the scene he killed bird and eat it also scene when he rape Chad make me sick. And Kate actress in final kinda flat, she should more express evil look. I admit that Thai lakorn always surprise me, they have cheesy also have drama storyline. But sometimes they failed in execution. Like this series, they have good story but the presentation like old tv series, not like Kdrama or American series (I watch on Netflix so it kinda old when compared to them); If you like Asian series which doesn't have mainstream storyline this series for you.

First love never dies

First that catch my attention is opening of this series, in my opinion is the BL version of Stephen Chow's Royal Tramp part2 there is scene when Brigette Lin character poisoning by her enemy and the cure is she must having sex with a men. The opening also lead me to another hint, this series could be related with Chinese.
Thonhon is the only male child in his family and he is Chinese Descents. Like most Chinese and Chinese descents, having male child means continuing family name.
Thonhon is very masculine men. There is no hint that he is gay. Many people thought that Thonhon is homophobic but in my opinion he is not homophobia and he confused with his situation. With his look, I guess a lot of gay men seducing him. When Thon eat noodle with Chon, there is gay men willing to pay them to have 3 way sex. Thon mindset all gay men is feminine and seducing other men even though he doesn't know very well about the person for having sex. But on the other side, his mind is raging because he like Chon. It mean he is gay. But gay on Thonhon mind portray as feminine and (apologize) slut.
The final episode scene of Chon mom scold Thon father remain me another Stephen Chow movie, Hail The Judge and Flirting Scholar
It is clear that Chonlatee is like Thonhon. But my biggest question mark for me is, what makes Thon brave enough to broke all detention to be with Chon. He get jealous when Na start to moved with Chon but for me that isn't reason to sacrifice everything to be with Chon. Also I didn't see any Chon action to prove that he love Thon. It was Thon all the time to protect Chon while Chon almost doesn't do anything except he wash all Thon cloth including Thon underwear.
For me, Thon and Amp kissing scene is not cheat. Thon here proving that he doesn't have a heart again to Amp and kiss is doesn't matter for him. He dump Amp because she is not good for him not because he broken heart and make him traumatic in relationship again with women. This kiss was in public place with a lot of their friends can confirm that there is nothing between them. In my opinion, that not cheat at all. Chon is too rush to make conclusion and move from Thon. But...yeah, this is drama. And when this scene make you angry it mean their acting and the director are successful to deliver that scene.
One character that stealing our attention at this series is Miriam. I am glad not found any comments mention GMM romanticizing prostitution. At first they met Miriam, she stand out than other girls. Miriam was lucky enough Ai and Ni helping her out from call-house. And she prove that she is good person despite her job.
So, it is clear enough why Miriam accept the offer become surrogate mother for Thon and Chon. She need money. We don't have any solid background about Miriam but one thing for sure she became call girl because she need money. Is Miriam clever? Yes, Miriam is smart and clever, she still virgin and she is call girl meaning she use her brain to trick client so the client not touch her but the client not complain about it.
Don't confuse with surrogacy storyline. According to Thailand law, surrogate mother can be the legal guardian for the baby. That why, Chon say he chose become godfather for the baby, it has same level as parent but not strong as father or mother. I guess Chon still not comfortable to call as mom or Thon and Chon need to have discussion about who is the father and the mother on birth certificate. This is the first series that come to talk about surrogacy and adoption for gay couple after Thailand house of representatives pass the law to allow same sex couple register their union. With that law, same sex couple be able to adopt children, claim inheritance rights and jointly manage assets such as property.
This series is not perfect or great, even this series is not my favorite. Some aspects aren't developing well. There is scenes is new at BL series like the opening scenes also storyline like Miriam, surrogacy and adoption. While Thon action is questionable and Amp storyline is boring for me. This series is not perfect nor bad either.

Exploitation

I really love first season despite their decision to make special episode which kinda ridiculous but after I read Mame tweet on dec 17 2019 that she lost 10 million baht to make first season, I said to myself why she did that?
But I am not surprise when they announce second season because the popularity of first season and MewGulf right now become famous, they are one of highest paid Y couple, for advertisement etc plus sponsorship to make second season which announced by his name not his product.
After I watch first episode, I feel disappointed. I can't find the development of TharnType after 7 years. I don't get why Tharn so annoying keep pushing Type to be married. Type already answered Tharn questions why he feel uncomfortable married with Tharn. Instead to make Type believe that it will be no problem, Tharn just keep pressure Type to accept his idea. Do you think that not gonna be ruin your relationship? Relationship in my opinion is about two people become one, you have to accept your partner weakness and your partner ability in sad or happy moments. It is not easy to consider and balance to reach goal in relationship. And Tharn just leaving Type to make him more calm and stable instead to convince him to not worry. Having relationship especially gay couple is complicated and so much pressure on. And this season is missing that point. I know fans really want wedding scene but giving it without clear explanation why they must married is not great.
Special episode is driving me nut. Is that Mame signature for having special episode that make viewers especially MewGulf fans to pay? Why she do that after she get sponsorship to make second season? She lost money again to make second season?
In the end, this season is completely messed and boring. I stopped to watch because the story is bad. I really hope MewGulf will have another project together again with producer that can explore their acting. Not with producer who just want to make money from their popularity.
