yea thats my issue.. they are blaming a great country for some of its problem while forgetting that half of the planet is still hell on earth (compared to SK). its just disrespectful to claim that the country is a shithole and just a large conspiracy. its great to fight problems that SK has, but not that way - we shouldnt create new problems or make existing worse

i can agree these things are right, yet you are badmouthing SK insanely: the statement about civilized countries,
would you call south korea uncivilized after all these things you have just said? What would you call Haiti then? hell? Every society has its flaws, they actually are required for a working society. just as perfectness causes depression. i am happy that SK is developing and becoming a greater country with every day that passes and everyone should contribue towards this, but new problems will arise. just as you mentioned "the rise of digital crimes", there will be new problems after all the current problems have been fought. but claiming the country is a corrupt shithole because of the "regular rape cases" their outcome and its media coverage doesnt make sense. as said, compare to other places on earth. there are countries with higher rape rates and even more lax handling by the judiciary. your original statement SK being the rape-heaven of earth or just a rape-heaven still doesnt make sense which was the thing i called out. these problems dont prove it. objectively there are more countries fit as a rape heaven. you could say the same about the U.S. just because of the epstein files or diddy or any other case that had mega media coverage. it just depends on the news bubble you live in. if you would consume sahel media instead of korean media i can guarantee you, you would not only think sahel countries are a rape-heaven but literally hell on earth. and this pretty much can be proven objectively, unlike the statement abt SK which you only made because u are active in the SK bubble. if you were to consume media from all over the world you also wouldnt have made the statement as you could compare and understand that SK isnt a run-down shithole with a fucked up judiciary (but as said the executive in most cases is the issue)

you are here with unproven statements yet again. you are claiming the US has turned into a dystopian failure full of authoritarianism just because of the 2024 election. the story with elon musk and the election interference isnt really proven its the same as trump claiming the 2020 elections, trump's bills in early 2025 regarding AI and infrastructure development with these mega companies may have something to do with lobbying, i wont deny that lobbying exists and that it even reaches the white house, however you cant claim an entire presidency got bought. the same things are happening all over the world and way worse. Europe definitely is fit better for this, however lobbying there also is a huge problem, especially in the european parliament where the big lobby firms have their buildings right next to it (metaphorical - yet there are many firms with seat in brussels). but i can guarantee you that these billionaires and elon musk himself isnt influencing the worlds global supply chain or the geopolitical situation at all, its just big media talk and fearmongering. as people say: "nothing ever happens". musk is now out again and the argument isnt really fitting. next to that i wouldnt say the US transformed radically, its politics, there are controversies everywhere. Just because trump doesnt enjoy positive news in the bubble democrats live it doesnt mean the US is really that wrecked. ask republicans how the world was for them under biden. yes, it was the same as it is now for democrats. this is just politics. However this is part of my opinion, to prove you wrong with facts and to get back to my original statement we can simply compare OECD countries and second or third worlders.
Would you call the justice system of Burkina Faso fair? would you think any other third world country has a succeeding transparency and long-term corruption decrease ahead, as promised since decades)? I simply drew lines that connect OECD countries with working justice systems in my statement and i dont see anything wrong with it, even if lobbying exists and musk played a huge role (not really as said), the judiciary of the US is still perfect. If musk were to rape a person i am sure the prosecution will act just as much as if the average 50 year old man did it. actually - it would be different: if there were rumors regarding it and the media outcry is huge the government would establish transparent committees or simply start a transparent investigation as we have seen in history with major scandals. however can this be said in 3rd world countries? can this be said in russia? i can guarantee you, the economic standards of countries in fact affect the judiciary and its effectivenes. meanwhile a strong judiciary also helps the economic, its a two sided partnership. there actually are studies about it

yeah people refer to OECD countries as "rich civilized countries" - civilized as in they have a working justice system and a smooth running country, which is crucial to stabilized economic growth. calling sk the rape heaven is nothing but a biased statement. only because you hear many things in your news bubble it doesnt mean its the worst country. ask people in germany, russia, america about the rape problem. there are many other countries which could be classified as "rape heaven" because sentences are too mild or simply nothing happens. SK objectively has a great justice system and claiming it is a shithole because of "corruption" - which actually only takes place at the executive - is pretty biased
this rapist getting roles but people that do drugs once are blacklisted??
he is a great man lol youre delusional if you still believe that. he is the victim and court proved that. the girl gets arrested for defamation and fabricating evidence. if you cant even trust the judiciary of an OECD country then i assume you must live in fear your entire day and you arent supposed to go outside because everything is a conspiracy and corruption is everywhere.
stop bashing on everyone claiming they are a rapist maybe you are one and try to feel better by judging other ppl
The plot was perfect, I can't understand the hate on the 2nd half. I understand that the ENDING, just the 4th quarter, was rushed, yes! But the plot itself was perfect and exciting - and REALISTIC! In the end, Woo-Sung acted like every human would have. Which is the purpose of the movie - to be relatable. I think the target group of the movie plays a huge role here - whereas it gets negative reviews from younger people who might not relate with the MC at all.
I really liked this movie and I left a review! However I have many questions with my most important one being why he wasn't arrested after all? He spoke to the prosecutor and the prosecutor hinted on covering the embezzlement story up - with the prosecutor asking for verification that Noh Woo-Sung saw nothing regarding it. However Woo-Sung definitely was about to go to jail or get reinvestigated as the person who "got hit" (threw himself to the ground and hit his head at the wall) was about to die. Now if the person is dead there probably would've been a lot of rumors especially in the media, because who dies that way when there is a murder but he gets free because someone claims the person faked getting hit? IIf he survived, he could've just spread the story about the "journalist" because his wife died and he didn't get paid? Which would gain media attention again.
So I assumed the prosecutors covered everything for him up, whereas we see the ending where he "enjoys" his home he got back but can't return to normal life. Yet the half-dead person still can't be answered - next to the ton of other questions I still have.
i like him so much when he is playing a police related role! recently noticed him in good boy and remembered him: i loved him in chief of staff - was his best and cutest character so far! i look forward to see more from him in similar roles
the games are way better than S2 - maybe as good as S1 games. however in all honesty everything else is so low (besides KOREAN cast and their acting). If we compare to recently released kdramas Squid Game S03 definitely DOES NOT deserve a 7 star rating.
