This might be an unpopular opinion, but never mind—this is just my personal take. I think this drama is just okay. It’s not bad, but it’s not something that left a lasting impression on me. Even the fight scenes were just decent. They were nice, but not mind-blowing. You know how sometimes, when you watch a fight scene, you get that “Wow, that was amazing!” feeling? That didn’t really happen for me with this drama.
The story itself is good, but again, just okay. I didn’t feel disappointed, but I also didn’t feel like I was watching something incredible that I’d absolutely love. Even the OST was just okay—it’s not bad, but definitely not the most memorable one I’ve heard. The CGI was fine, nothing groundbreaking.
Now, when it comes to the chemistry, I actually liked it, especially in the first 10 episodes when she was his master and he was her apprentice. I really enjoyed those moments because she was flirty, and it made their dynamic fun to watch. But after that, the story was just… nice. Not bad, but not amazing either. Please don’t hate me…sometimes it’s not just for you and it’s okay for anyone else 🙌🏻
I don't really care, but even though the female lead acts childish at times, I can still understand her behavior because traumatic reactions like hers do exist in real life. However, her sister really annoyed me a lot. She’s so slow and seems kind of clueless. I'm talking about the character, not the actress. Her sister never tries to see things from her point of view and is always blaming her. It’s not like people with trauma need to be treated in some overly special way, but the way we treat them should depend on the situation, the context, and everything else that needs to be considered. In this drama, it's not the female lead who stresses me out, it’s her sister.
just done with this one.. not my cup of tea but I've watched until the end. the only part I love is their fighting scenes and also the friendship. the FLs characters are just so unnecessary, I skipped all of their part. they have the most boring and weakest characters. But we can see how love can be turned into obsession would be....but ye yun is a bit different with his background's family, but then to do all the things he does for a someone is just something I can not brain. hopefully I can sober enough if I ever got into this situation. pray for anyone else tooo ❤️
If you wait a day the translations get done by a human instead of AI and they make more sense.
I understand some Mandarin, so I don't have any issues with the translations. However, the transitions could be improved. I love this drama that I have no patience to wait the proper translation as long as I can understand it.
Haha, I just finished ep18, and I have to agree. Sometimes the female lead makes some questionable decisions. She doesn't always think things through. And now that some people have pointed out the awkward transitions, I can't unsee them. But honestly, I don't mind. I just laugh when I notice them. Still, they could have done better. I really like those fighting scenes
I love this drama so far. I don't mind some flaws in the FL since she's still young compared to the ML. However, it’s disappointing to see hate directed at her. Her behavior throughout the drama is understandable, she’s young but mature for her age. Her character is much better than those in other dramas where the FLs behave like immature children. She's not someone who acts like a helpless character who always needs the ML's help. However, this is just how the story and the characters have been written. But then again, everyone has different opinions, so it's okay.

I have a very the same opinion as you. the only part that I found interesting was their 1st meeting during the arrow part and the last one for their fighting scenes. their other scenes are funny too, but I also find it unnecessary because there aren't many plots going on. so overall this one is a decent drama for me. Btw ZWY is so attractive, first time watching his drama and waiting for more
I've watched this one, well I skipped this one first because I'm not a big fan of gulf. so I watched kwanruetai and dujupsorn first. And turns out, I love this than kwanruetai. this drama doesn't really focus on romance and I really like how adventurous it is. but the last 2 eps I skipped a lot. the chemistry is good but I feel they don't developed enough because they kind of focus more on the mission. the acting is also good, they are good actually specifically when gulf feels heartbroken and gina just as good as she's already is.
hate to say this, I knew gulf from BL and for sure that's my type kind of dramas to watch. I also feels the fans just being harsh on FL just because they preferred their BL genre. I think this always happen when BL actors try different genres and I personally think that if you want to be a good actor and career you have to go big, and it would be great if gulf has more dramas with high rate actress/actors. in that way, we can see how good is he as an actor.

at last, I've completed this drama. it was just okay, skip a lot.. didn't feel the chemistry that much, a bit draggy. focus too much on her mom, she's annoying af. mikey also did a good job on his first drama, need to improve a lot for sure. I tried so hard to just ignore how cute and young mikey when he's supposed to be the older one, his body also didn't bulky when he's supposed to be a soldier. it's unnecessary but it would be good to see if he's a bit bulky because it suits his character. overall this drama is just okay for me.
wow.. I'm speechless on how I love this one compared to the others, it's so good. I didn't even skip much parts this time, the emotions were a roller-coaster ride. I didn't like the ml at first just because he's not my type, watch this for mint then I fall for him.. he's kind of grow on me, I love it. this drama is so good, can't comment much just love it so much

Damn, I saw the reviews especially the hate towards the female lead. this season is so good despite they are only has 10 eps and still can build the amazing chemistry. I think those people are blinds for saying youn jung is bad at acting. how toxic are you to judge her like that if you don't like her and compare these 2 seasons especially about the FLs. both are good, and I don't like S1 because I just feel the chemistry just not there FOR ME. and I don't like the FL in S1, but I have never said she's bad here and there. they worked harder to produce these, just because you don't like the FL you just rate them low. it's realy pathetic. like seriously 1.0 star?

Just completed this drama for three days non stop watching it... and i just knew ycy got critizied of her acting. I just start watching dramas back after months and i was shocked that ycy's acting being so good. I mean it was such a huge improvement if you see her other dramas, i swear. And dyx is good but please dont disgrade other actors. I love this drama 8.5 for me, hopefully get to see other dramas from them again!
I stopped watching at ep 29 and I tried to watch 2 eps a day which means I'm still behind on the 2 latest eps because I'm scared... however today I watched till ep33 and stopped. I cried straight away, like nonstop and having a headache now doesn't help anything. GOSH, THE ENDING IS BETTER WORTH ALL MY TEARSSSS !!!!

GOSH, NERVOUS AS HELL!!! after I read spoilers about the ending of the novel, I didn't sit down well at all EVERYDAY WAITING FOR THIS DRAMA. but there are also comments about they might change the ending since the drama is quite different from the novel, but I'm just going to be positive, POSITIVE AS I CANNNN. comments, opinions are different from spreading hates... if u dislike this drama, yes you can comment n drop it. but some people keep watching it and hates every little things especially the fl and almost everyday comment about how bad this drama is. if you say because you want to see if there is a good development in the next eps why not just wait till it done and see the reviews. don't waste your time on the drama that you hate when there are fews good drama that are currently air
