Okay, I've finally finished it... and honestly, it wasn't as confusing as I thought. 😂 I was only confused…
The ending was actually much lighter than some of the core heartbreaking scenes earlier on, but damn... being such a sensitive person, I cry way too easily. 😭

I don't think all those tears were worth it for me because it honestly drained me way more than I expected. 🫠 But I'd still say it's a great drama. I was satisfied with the ending, just not with how emotionally devastating some of the scenes were. They completely drained the life out of me.

I know some people would say all those tears were worth it, and I totally get why. It's just that this isn't the kind of drama I usually look for. As someone who's a romance fan...whether it's wuxia, xianxia, or modern dramas, I usually mainly watch for the romance and always a HE. This drama portrays love in a much broader sense, not just romantic love but also sacrifice, responsibility, family, and devotion. And honestly, it did that beautifully. It's just not my usual cup of tea. 🫠💔

About the scene at the beginning of episode 27, here's what Tian Jiarui himself said about it:https://x.com/daa_sprthvi/status/2040705247677755492P.S.…
You're not helping here... 😭😭😭 That scene was so heartbreaking, but so gooddd. Gosh, I don't ever want to watch anything this emotionally devastating again. I need some time to recover before I can start another show like this.

ep 27... WHAT WAS THAT????? 😭😭😭 Like, what was the point of putting us through that, dear writer?! I…
Okay, I've finally finished it... and honestly, it wasn't as confusing as I thought. 😂 I was only confused because I was watching it while working.

I don't even know how many tears I wasted on this drama. 😭 The first 10 episodes or so didn't really make me cry, but from Episode 10 until the very end... I was an emotional mess. Even the way they looked at each other carried so much emotion, wanting to be together but knowing they couldn't. Every meeting was beautiful, yet heartbreaking at the same time. It felt like they were destined to meet, but at the wrong time. There were just too many things working against them for everything to ever be simple.

As for the ending, I actually loved it. I think it was enough, and personally, I don't think it needs a second season unless it's about different characters in the same era or anything. To me, they got their happy ending in their own way. As long as they ended up together, that's enough for me. 🤍

I cried so much that I honestly don't think I'll ever rewatch it. 😂 But it's such a good drama. It's an emotional roller coaster, and the plot keeps surprising you until the very end.

If you're okay with getting emotionally drained, if you understand that a happy ending doesn't always have to be sunshine and fairy tales, and if you're looking for something beyond the usual sweet cdramas romance, then I really recommend giving this one a try. At its core, it's not just a love story, it's a journey of sacrifice, growth, and choosing both the people they love and the people they serve.

There will be even more confusing arc ahead, but in the end everything sets clear (at least the most questions…
You’re so convincingggg… I’m already tired of cryingyyyy. 😭 I might have to call in sick for work tomorrow because of this drama. My eyes are so swollen right now!! How on earth are you guys surviving watching it? 🫠

1. yes definitely 2. it's HE3. No not at all, it’s more emotionally impressive4. It really depends on how easily…
I’m on ep 24, and my eyes are already swollen from crying. I swear, no matter how heartbreaking a drama is, I end up getting emotional over even the smallest scenes. I already have a headache from crying, but there’s no turning back now…. it’d be a waste not to finish it when I only have 5 episodes left. 🫠💔 I’m probably going to wake up tomorrow looking like I got punched in both eyes.

I myself watched it at 2x speed and understood everything lol. Maybe because I've seen a lot of this genre and…
I watched most of the episodes while I was working. 😌 It’s my own fault for not being able to concentrate and for literally committing workplace crimes by watching this during work hours. But it was so hard to wait until I got home to continue… I just don’t have that kind of patience. I needed somewhere to vent because their stories were just so heartbreaking for me. 😭💔

I'm already on Episode 22, and I had to hold back my tears while trying to process everything that was happening. 😭 At this point, this drama has already given me a headache... and I still have 7 episodes left to go. 🫠

And why is everyone's story so heartbreaking? 😭😭😭Even the ost captures their emotions so perfectly, they makes every scene hit even harder.

This show is so confusing, especially the part where they were trapped inside the stone. 😭 I might have to rewatch everything after I finish all the episodes because it's so hard to keep up.

It doesn't help that I'm trying to read the subtitles while everyone looks so gorgeous, and the plot is already confusing enough. 🫠

At first, I didn't really feel the chemistry between them as a couple. They gave me more of a bfs who love teasing each other vibe. But after they got trapped together, their chemistry started growing on me, and now I can finally see it.

Also... why is Ju Jingyi so unbelievably pretty? 😭 Her makeup is stunning. I keep getting distracted just staring at her instead of paying attention to what's happening.

To me, its a happy ending. So so worth it 🫶🫶
As for Episode 10, I actually like it. It’s not the kind of plot I usually go for. I’m more of a romance girl who loves enemies to lovers and all the push and pull tension. 😭 But the CGI and editing really caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try.

So far, it’s been a pretty enjoyable watch, especially since I didn’t have anything else to watch. Hopefully it keeps getting better than I expect.

It started off really strong, but the few episodes before Episode 10 felt a bit slow to me, and not much really happened. Thankfully, it started picking up again after that. I honestly don’t mind if the romance is minimal, as long as there are good fight scenes or interesting things to keep the story moving. I guess the slower episodes were there to build things up before pulling us back in, and it seems to be working. Btw, Tian Jiarui really has such a baby face 😭. Thank goodness Ju Jingyi looks so cute too, or my brain would’ve struggled even more with the pairing. 😂 I keep getting distracted because of him as Ji Ling….he’s just too much of a cutieeeee and I keep thinking that he’s a just a baby😭🤏

Thank youuu for replying! 🫶 I’ll watch it ASAP today. I always look for HE because I genuinely can’t handle myself staring at the ceiling for hours after finishing a drama 😂 That’s just how my brain works after getting emotionally drained.

It's emotionally heavy with somewhat happy ending (it depends on your own perspective but it's HE)
Thank you! I just get emotionally drained really easily whenever I'm too invested in a story and end up crying 😭. But as long as it has a HE, I don't mind all the tears I wasted. At least I'll finish it with a smile instead of emotional damage. 😂🤍

Should I watch it? How's the ending? Is it emotionally exhausting? Will it break my heart and make me cry ugly? 😭😭😭

I'm okay if it's sad with a HE, but not if it's sad with a SE 😭. I'll end up way too emotionally invested, too exhausted to even cry, and probably make myself sick. 😭but the CGI looks so goodddd

hii omg i know its been a few months, but just wondering where did you watch it yaa? thanks!
You probably have unsafe websites blocked on your device. That can happen because fansub sites usually aren’t considered secure since they don’t have official distribution rights. Here’s the same subber’s playlist on dailymotion,
https://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x9q7sm

She has subbed quite a lot of shows on her website, although not all of them are available on dailymotion because she usually embeds videos from various streaming platforms on her own site. It’s a shame you can’t access it because she has so many great translations.

Hii, you can watch it here https://ohsweethaven.com/completedproject/2025-2/mystupidcupid/

It’s a fansub, but there are going to have few ads in the website.. better use ad blocker app to watch it.. if you’re new to lakorn, you can try lakorngalaxy too, they provide links to fansub projects and their own subbed projects too

I LOVE ITTTT!!!!! WOWW! Surprisingly, both of the leads did a really good job! I mean, despite coming from different countries, both of them portrayed the characters so beautifully. It's very heartwarming. I love it! I wish the episodes were much longer. 😭 Both are good looking, I mean, all of them! The acting is great, even the OST is perfect, and the quality is also great. If only it were longer and developed more, then we could see how they are going to live together, but the ending is already perfect to end it that way

Surprisingly, I ended up loving this drama far more than I expected. It’s packed with legal cases, yet it still carries a quiet slice of life warmth that somehow felt so healing. I especially loved the conversations they shared over the tea..

What I loved most was the slow burn relationship. They started off barely liking each other, then slowly became each other’s comfort, safe place, and someone they could lean on. The progression felt so natural that I found myself getting more attached with every episode.

I really hope season 2 gets confirmed and starts filming soon because the ending was honestly… a shit. Even so, I’m still giving it an 8.5/10. It wasn’t perfect, but it comforted me in a way I didn’t expect, and that’s exactly why I loved it.

Person Krystal Jung
Her acting has improved so much in Mad Concrete Dreams. I was honestly so impressed seeing how much she’s grown since her idol days. I really need to see her in a medical or lawyer drama next.

I know she’s busy right now, but I also know she’ll probably disappear for a while before taking on another project. Dear Krystal, I completely understand that you love your slow, rich girl lifestyle, but as your fan… I need moreeee 😭😭😭

Idk guys, but I love this one so much… I started watching it out of boredom, and I haven’t really watched kdrama in years. Somehow, this one gave me so many good laughs.

I’m usually not into slice of life dramas especially if it’s related to medical, cuz I prefer shows with intense surgeries and high stakes scenes like Dr. Romantic. That’s probably why I never enjoyed Hospital Playlist as much, even though I finished both seasons.

But this one? I genuinely enjoyed it. Maybe I need to give Hospital Playlist another rewatch too.
