The pacing of the storyline from episodes 1 to 16 was so rushed that I couldn't even tell if the female lead was actually assigned to lead the Imperial Intelligence Bureau or the Imperial Censorate.
I couldn't even keep track of the names of the supporting characters backing the female lead and male lead in this series.
I also don't understand why the female lead only decided to learn martial arts in episode 17 (after an attempted rape); wouldn't it have been better to start much earlier—perhaps right when she first took on the role of department head in the imperial capital?

that is why, its very weird when watching this tv series, suddenly, after reborn of GQZ into SXH (3 years later after the old GQZ is suicide), the characters of new SXH become cold and ruthless.
