Absolutely love your review!😍 The main thing was revenge around which the entire plot revolved....but this version failed to do that! The satisfaction I got from the original one is not even near this one! One of the things which I loved about Ji-Won is that she took self-defense classes, because she didn't want to leave anything to chance.
No I literally hate her and I felt her so unwanted in this drama. I thought her character was developed in their…
Exactly my point!
Song noticed Qi Qi smiling one day. He thought he might have a shot with her. But can you really tell if someone has changed based on just that? It doesn't make sense to me.🤷🏻♀️ Yet, Qi Qi got everything in the end. She achieved her dream job and found a boyfriend, too.
Am I the only one who dislikes Qi Qi? I seriously don't get the point of Song Cong and Qi Qi dating episodes. Their chemistry feels so forced. How can they just show her like a good girl after all these episodes? She was completely moved out of the drama after her fight with Huan'er. Then why the main character now?
I don't know, maybe it's just me. But every time I watched a Chinese youth drama like this, a quiet ache settles…
Chinese youth dramas are the best among other Asian dramas. They will bring out very deep emotions in you that you never knew existed. You will cry like a baby. You may even feel like reaching out to old friends just to see how they are doing. And at that time you will forget all your grudges and anger if you had for some people. It's just a wholesome feeling.
Two quotes which I really like from this drama-
“Young friends are collectors of youth.”
“Maybe some of our friends can only accompany us on a short journey. But our lives are complete because of this little journey. Those who have been in our lives will be part of our souls for the rest of our lives.”
I'm so glad my review helped you stick with it! I totally get why it might seem like just another youth drama…
I am really liking the drama. Qi Qi acted like rejoining the group was no big deal. It didn't make much sense. I just can't like this character.😂 Now I see why you said it can be draggy. Major events that show their growth get only one or two episodes. Yet, smaller ones drag on for three or four!
and did pi really murder the teacher himself or was it someone else ?
Tbh when I first heard Uncle’s voice in episode one, I thought that the actor playing the role was Park Hyuk Kwon but later got confused when they introduced Han Wool’s dad.😅😅

I wish they showed him more. He was the villain but we actually saw him doing something big only in the last two episodes. Ga Min was introduced so well even his skills and everything. I wanted that depth for Pi Han Wool as well. For this reason, I thought the uncle was related to him🫣 So sorry😅
my king Park Geon-Yeob stayed true to his roots unil the end by only showing up for 7 seconds each episode yet…
I still think he is the main villain. Something related to his mother's death. I mean how could he always come at the right time? Like he was always watching.

I think he didn't. Too many loose ends. I still think the mastermind is someone else and Ga Min’s coach is Pi Han Wool’s Dad in my opinion. When they both were fighting in the last episode…. Pi Han Wool was able to block those forbidden techniques attack.

I will definitely watch it if it's from the same director.
Song Cong and Du Man deserved more screen time.

Also,
We didn't get to meet his father, did we?
