Yeh 100% almost completely different, most characters have the same personality but some different. And besides the world setting, pretty much everything changed, which I don't mind. I would really like to know who the screenwriter is though. See if their previous work is good or not haha

They changed it compared to the novel so drama may be different and has already started their romance differently, but in the novel he fell first. He liked her long ago, he proposed their engagement, he fell first. She first got interested in him after learning he proposed their engagement, slowly began observing him then over time fell in love with him. She liked his personality, and slowly through spending more time with him, fell in love. He fell first and harder, but she loved him a lot too and fell pretty quickly after spending time with him.

The actress playing Rongewi also was in Guardians of Dafeng, didn't have too large a role but she was so pretty in that as well! I hope the maid doesn't die even know I know she probs will, hopefully not in the same way in the novel, it was too tragic.

Its cause the main producer is linmon not Tencent, so they're in charge of global distribution, their global distribution isn't good sometimes, super annoying!
