Honestly love how ML and FL addressed the whole gossip thing before it even became an issue, love how they both agreed for ML to pursue her openly and not care about the gossip. So many times in modern romance cdramas with a business setting once the gossip starts there will be the inevitable noble idiocy break up from one side to avoid the gossip. I love how this drama just skipped over that part, who cares about the gossip.

Also so nice of the older female work colleague to give FL some sincere advice. Everyone at her work just overall a better friend than her college friends when they barely even know each other.

Hahaha same smiling so much, Ml is completely opposite of 2ML and you can tell FL is slowly returning to her old self or like her more cheerful self because of him.

Love the symbolism of the new phone. FL to deciding to leave everything behind on the old phone and only carry the contacts over, leaving behind the messages and photos of her past and obviously 2ML. Love it, moving on is never easy, but it starts with one step at a time. Nice to see FL making a conscious decision to take those steps.

FL telling ML to keep at it then saying she wants to see what he's capable of in regard to him pursuing her, is both hilariously cute and a badass move. Nice to see her confidence and courage coming back after what her jealous college friends put her through.

Also shoutout to her work friend who hasn't even known her that long but is like the best friend he's had, just supportive and happy for her.

The flirting between them both in ep 14 and 15 during ML's pursuing era is outrageously cute. Sometimes you need a break from the stressful dramas, and the cute and stress free flirting they have in recent eps while ML pursues FL is so good.

Netflix only update the episode count a few eps at a time, 36 is the official episode count. You can also see on iqyi and tencent/wetv they have previews for ep 18 and 19 out so definitely goes past 16.

I'm all for debate and people having their own opinion and I agree dramas should have no break up for this list. But dramas where they get together at the end, that's the thing though, again you are generalizing for other people. As long as they don't break up it fits the criteria for the list. While it may not be what you are looking for when you come to this list, the fact that people suggested the drama in the comments and it was added to the list, show that there are others that do come to this list for those types of dramas.

And again there is more to romance than dating, couples can be dating without it being official. A lot of people like the flirting, like the will they won't they, like the chase before they are official or even dating.

You're entitled to your opinion, but what you mentioned is your interpretation of what this list should be, thats the problem. Everyone has different interpretations, so all you can do is stick to what the description of the list says not implications, which is no break ups or misunderstandings. Whether that implies something else or not doesn't matter, as you may think it implies one thing while others think it implies another.

While you may think certain dramas don't belong on the list because of what the list implies or what you believe it should be, at the end of the day those are just your own beliefs and interpretations of the list. But everyone interprets the list differently, otherwise dramas you think don't belong wouldn't have been suggested and added. The disagreements about certain dramas shows that the interpretations of the list are different and it also shows people come to this list for different reasons. So, at the end of the day we can only follow the description of the list, not implications and interpretations. As long as there is no break ups or misunderstanding and a HE, it fits the list. Ofcourse you and OP have mentioned some drams that do have break ups and they obviously should not be on the list but I haven't come across those yet.

I agree, if there is absolutely no romance and/or the ML and FL don't get into a relationship at a ll, or they do break up, then it shouldn't be on the list. But I agree with DramaKC123's reply to you, the drama's you mentioned in your reply all have romance and the couples all get together (besides Behind your touch which I have not seen) and don't break up. Yes romance may not be the main focus or be really prevalent in those dramas, but as DramaKC123 said, the description does not say romance has to be the focus of the dramas. And again, preferences are different, what you might consider showing no romantic interest, to other viewers may be subtle signs of romance that are deep and meaningful but subtle and not in your face.

The dramas you mentioned in your reply, romance is only a side/minor theme, but it is definitely there, so it fits the list. If this list was for romance only or romance focused dramas then yeh you would be right, but no where does it say that. Sometimes romance is a minor theme, but also leads to main relationships with no breakups or misunderstandings. While you may not come to this list for those dramas, others may come here for them.

This list doesn't say the dramas have to be heavy with romance or romance focused, I think thats where the confusion lies. I mean resident playbook for me definitely fits the list as the romance between Ml and FL is very obvious but not the focus. Hello monster if you look at the reviews on MDL, pretty much every single one mentions romance. Detective 1958, the ML gets married, I also was the one that suggested Mobius, and I clearly stated in the description it was not a heavy romance. However, there was definitely romance, and ML and FL stuck together throughout thick and think. It was subtle, not in your face, was a cute walk, a cute and awkward conversation here and there, glances by the ML and FL towards each other. If the list specified the drama must be romance heavy or romance focused I would not have suggested it, but it does not. And thus I suggested it and it was added to the list.

Dramas are subjective, there for this list doesn't specify for dramas to be romance heavy or romance central, just that the leads have no break up or misunderstandings. Some dramas on this list yeh have very minor or subtle romance, but it is still there. And for some people they enjoy romance like this, with just a few glances, awkward or cute conversations. Maybe for you thats not enough, but for others thats enough. Something what you may consider as showing no interest may actually have subtle glances, minor details that are easily missed but do show the romance.

Just like those dramas you named you believe shouldn't be on the list, but I think they should, and whoever added them to the list/suggested in comments, also believes they should. Sf course I'm sure there are others that agree with you and that they shouldn't. But that's my point, dramas are subjective, so just because you feel like they shouldn't be on the list, doesn't mean everyone also agrees with you.

I think when you come to this list you are looking for romance centric dramas, but this list isn't that. Its not a romance only list, there for there are some shows with romance as a side or minor addition, but still there.

However, of course you're entitled to your opinion and maybe there are other dramas on this list I haven't watched that don't fit it, but for me this list is great and @MKB does great. Since this list is crowd sourced as we can't expect @MKB to watch every single drama first, there are bound to be differences of opinion and thats ok.

Holy Shit that first ep, wtf what an insane start

Yeh the rookie is great, I love Nathan Fillion from his castle days so was glad to see him in it, and yeh chenford is awesome. But yeh I love Chicago PD because it's so gritty compared to other shows especially the earlier seasons. And yeh Chicago fire is all about family and stuff.

Yeh exactly, always nice when the original author can screen writer and Gu Man knows her stuff. Also form Reuters and spoiler clips looking forward to their future together.

Essentially, ML's family owns the company called Shengyuan. FL's family owns company called Yuancheng. The company FL and ML work out now is called Shuangyaun, ML's family company owns 51%, FL's family company owns 49%, so the company is owned by them both.

I think they don't know her because technically, her father doesn't own the company she works at now, but his company owns it. So they probably just know his companies name not necessarily his name, at least that just how I interpret it.

ML and FL just went on the best non-date, date ever. Gaming at the arcade, a movie and then a beautiful nighttime view in a high rise. FL texting him asking if he's home after, then breakfast together in the morning. Call it want you want, but that was their first date.

Oh nice, love all three of those American shows, great shows, especially Chicago PD for me, love Hank Voight.

Glad you're enjoying it, same here, I read the novel and was looking forward to it greatly and so far living up to expectations but I guess thats what you get when you have the screen writer also be the novel writer, plus Gu Man is very good at romance cdramas.

I love the snow scene where ML comes and grabs FL's hand while the annoying Ye Rong is around being pretentious to FL with 2ML doing nothing. You know, maybe I'm reading too much into this, but ML takes two steps at a time like he can't wait to go to her, and she comes running over. Maybe unconsciously, without realizing, she already feels like ML is her safe space, her comfort zone.

Also 2ML is stuck on the top step, half his foot over the edge. A perfect metaphor for him, always stuck on the edge but unwilling to take that final leap, that final step over the edge and towards FL. And in the end, it's that insecurity and indecisiveness that costs him FL, in comparison to ML's complete willingness to walk towards FL , two steps at a time, no matter what.

And the OST is perfect.

I agree with @DramaKC123. Everyone's preferences are different. This is a list for no breakups or misunderstandings and happy endings. Whether a couple gets together early or later does not really matter for this list. In my opinion chemistry plays a way larger part than when they officially get together. Of course, I prefer when couples don't get together too late, earlier is better for my preference. But if they have great or sizzling chemistry, where you feel the tension, you feel the romance, you feel them falling for each other, it does not matter to me when they get together. For me chemistry is way more important. I think DramaKC123 said it best romance is much more than just being an official couple. Sometimes you already know the ML and FL are ride or die for each other without them confirming they are a couple yet.

Also let's remember this list is for everyone, not just one persons preference. Just because someone prefer something, does not mean everyone else prefers the same. There might be people out there that like romance dramas where the couple only get together later in the drama giving viewers a final climax after watching the journey of the couple falling in love. Just because someone doesn't like something, does not mean it does not deserve to be on the list. Romance in dramas starts way before the ML and FL become an official couple. There will be some dramas on this list that you or I may not like, but thats ok, this list is for everyone not just matching a single persons preferences. As long as there is no breakup or misunderstanding and a happy ending, it fits the list.
