Don't be the audience if it's not your favorite game (I don't get the hate)

Takara no vidro is for those who craves for the calm, peacefulness and serenity.
Even though the first episode starts with a weird reason for the meet cute, I assure you that from the second episode you would not even remember the first episode even happened.

Coming to the story, it has no complex plot, no twists and turns that keeps you on edge, no dragging things for 5 episodes, no extra characters' unnecessary involvement. It is a very simple, straight forward love between a naive boy from the village and a cool senior who fears he might turn into what he hates.

Casting was so on point, I don't think I can see anyone playing Taishin that well because Konishi Eito (actor who played Taishin) knew the selling point and he did not disappoint. He knew how the typical naive bl character needs to be portrayed and he just did that. The character was a shy, naive, dumb village boy with pretty eyes and nothing in his brain and Konishi Eito showed us only that. And the reason people are pissed off about his acting is because he exactly portrayed that depthless character. Many actors overdo it or just straight up give us stiff acting. People need to understand that he was only presenting what was written and given to him. If you want a powerful character ask for the author or the director, not the actor who played the role.
Also, Iwase Yoji did pretty good as Takara. I loved his hair when he was under the sun. It was literally glowing. So the casting was pretty much a visual appetizer.

Absolutely loved both the osts, intro and the outro. They got the right feels. The music was included where it was needed, no over promoting the osts was done so that's good.

It has many rewatchable scenes and if you are someone who love to go back to your favorite series and go through a few scenes again and again, there are going to be many in case of this series.

Overall, this series is easily one of the best ones that came out this year and if you are someone who is looking for something intimate and comfy this is a must watch.

If you are someone who wants whirlwind romance where they start fucking right from the first episode itself, kindly leave your hate for this series elsewhere.
