My best guesses are maybe he thought she would recall her memories back if he hold her that he is her brother (a very small probability) or he had to explain her a lot about past (childhood, family, etc).

Is this worth watching cuz I dropped this in ep 3. Way too bland
If you didn't like the vibe till episode 3 then you won't enjoy the rest as well. I would say it's a slow-burn and calm, rather than bland.
