my bad for saying all the dramas, let me reiterate and say rare drama. since now-a-day's most of the dramas targets on being on ott's like Netflix, Prime, Disney or Viki it has decreased quite a lot since the past few years. although I am open to being wrong but now I have only seen it in turkey, india and maybe Japan dramas and a few others. but where did you get the schedule for it being on may 10? are there any articles about it?

This definitely use to happen but early during covid, hyeri's "May I help you" was filmed this way back in 2022 where they use to air during the time they were filming and doing the post production all together but now-a-day's all the drama's are done filming completely and then aired. it has been 2 to 3 years because back then they use to also change the script based on how the public would react to the scene and storyline but now the whole script is first made and then filmed, post production and airing from what I have noticed.

my point exactly! if they are gonna start filming from nov/dec it will take up to 6/7 months for them to get done especially if we are talking about a drama containing 10 to 12 eps. then there's post production editing and osts and all. so April/may will be when the filming is done and it goes to post production. not airing... since dty was finished filming in feb and was aired on July this might be finished in April/may and air on oct/nov give or take.

The difference is that friendly rivalry was character driven hence they focused more on the psychology of the characters and the plot connected it all. Whereas this is more plot driven that's why every fight is so easily resolved and we don't understand the perspective of the characters choices because it's plot driven. Character's choices are secondary and not fully connected to the plot. Or at least what I got from it.
No matter how polarizing this show is for me, I am addicted to watching it. Maybe because of main lead's chemistry? Maybe because of the 3 couple dynamic? Maybe because of how I really want one scene of all the couples together... I truly hope the second half is good and that we get to see hiy's jealous side as per Hyeri's words.

If you see Hana first went to Yijae to ask for the role of the protagonist, as for Hana's mother ceo ah who now also represents yu geon, she demands to take yu geon or remove yijae on the project.
(If you saw any of the pre drama released trailers for this drama there is already a clip of yu geon acting in this project and yijae was directing it along with soobin.) Hana's Mother has no right to threatened for the removal of yijae, idk what ultimatum she will hold, though I do got a feeling it will involve her daughter.

In the 2nd ep she was mad at him for coming and disrupting her life and she is chasing him for work in the next ep without a closure. They kissed and there was argument but closure never found its place in the 4th ep. Now she was isolated from the group and there is no closure in the 6th ep instead she was trying to prove rather than question or resolve what was going on. And he kissed her goodbye and I know there will be no closure on that topic as well in the 7th ep as there is a pattern.
They were supposed to be working as a team since this is her first project as a director, dividing at the first project makes no sense since this is her literal first experience. Soo bin involving his personal feelings into work was a terrible move. I understand he care for her and all that jazz but yi jae cares for him too yet, she doesn’t sabotage his work just because she feels for him. I hate how easily this is romanticized and normalized when it comes from a guy because 'he cares' and yet women are called emotional. I absolutely hated the outcasts scenes for yi jae. He has to stop making it seem like he knows her better than she knows herself and her limits, as he was absent for 15 years. And suddenly he wants to control, isolate and dictate her work life like she doesn’t have an independent mind of her own.

many people aren't getting as attached to the main couple because there is not a lot of talking between the characters…
after their kiss the misunderstanding was character driven to explore the feeling but it turned quickly to plot driven when all was well and she never brought up the kiss to clear the misunderstanding and the fact that he just told her to leave his home was never brought up because it needed to be solved but the plot doesn't have a enough time left for soobin and yijae to explore their feelings and hence comes the full circle the plot should be more main couple driven because they don't have enough time to resolve and just does it with fleeting clips.
