She is foolish for sure but the actress and the sincerity in her eyes made it really hard for me to hate her.…
I get that. That is your opinion and it is my free will to make a reply to your comment. Also, I replied back because I genuinely thought that you didn't understand my comment due to my sentence structure. Apparently that's not it and I don't get why you are pressed so much. This isn't your blog but an open space for all comments. If you don't want to see other people's opinions maybe you shouldn't look at open comment sections. Babes, maybe you should read the room and relax.

Man I hate the fact Ye Li became soft at the end and didn’t end that bitch empress dowager. Entitled bitch.…
Idk, I liked that she ended that way. She wasn't all evil, I think considering her time she did what she could with the hand she was dealt with. Also no usurpers in history was free of innocents's blood on their hands and actually most rulers were one way or another pretty ruthless. Even today it is true, look at who is ruling the world, starting wars, taking lives. Anyways, though I love Ye Li and she deserves her revenge the way she wants I still liked the Empress Dowager.

Difference being, he kills innocents.
That's literally who he is though, I'm not blaming for any of those things but threathing your own country's peace and killing your own people via fire is really not excusable.

Title The First Jasmine Spoiler
Can you tell me if it's a happy or sad ending??
Happy in a traditional sense yet it was bittersweet for me, leads are together and healthy yet I still can't help but think about all the roads that they never took. There are no what ifs in life and this drama embodies that virtue, which is why there is no version of this drama where my heart wouldn't be sad.

Now that the drama has ended... WHERE IS THE BGM ALBUM!? 💿🎵🎵PRODUCERS!?
I know right, I've been looking for it literally since day 1. I hope that they actually release it internationally, cause if not, I'll riot.

It's been such a long time since a drama made me feel like this. I just wanted to give a big hug to all of them. Ye Li's smile literally broke my heart, she is full of scars but still so strong to overcome whatever life throws at her. She should've been bitter, resentful yet from all of the ways she could've chosen to protect herself, she simply chose to move forward. I really love her character, her resilience.
Also Ye Ying was such a twist for me, I never thought I'd like her as much as I did, even though she was so foolish I couldn't get mad at her sincerity.
As for the emperess dowager, though she was guilty I really liked her, no matter what she did, at the end she didn't raise her son as a foolish emperor. She had the ambition yet who could pave the way she wished to walk without the blood of others. As a woman she could never ascend to power of any importance without trampling on others, and in the palace if she chose to just defend herself, she probably would've perished long ago. One right can't replace a one wrong yet my heart still goes for her.
This drama had really amazing characters, I haven't read the book but regardless execution was top notch, from acting to story telling. Music is really important for me and they even nailed that to perfection. I think for Bai Lu and Cheng Lei this drama is one of the best performances they have ever given.

I'm freaking sobbing while watching Ye Li act like nothing is wrong, I don't think her mental health will ever be fine. She is not coming back from that. And, it's been a while since I truly felt dissapointed at a male lead. I usually don't care about male lead characters enough to emotionally invest in them but this time it is hitting me hard. I can't emotionally digest the fact that he broke his promise when it meant everything to her. I don't think she'll be ever able to trust him again. I want her to heal but I don't think Mo Xiu Yao deserves to be her catalyst.

surprise...is this the summer of shelved dramas?
I've read/seen that there was this lack of drama production with the AI boom, and that made the whole real drama productions stall. But since the market/consumers were pretty mad about AI produced dramas, plus all the legal actions were being taken by the A-listers against unliscensed use of their faces by AI, the investors/producers had to pedal back.
So imo, to they might be releasing shelved dramas as a stopgap for the time being.

Editing and all the nonesense dialouges are killing me. It is funny when you don't take it seriously but the production value is just too low for a line up like this. I wouldn't mind so much if this was a short format web series but I can not excuse the level of sloppiness with all the bad dubbing, non coherent scene jumps and cheap (vertical drama level cheap) story telling.

So tired of the "2 broken ppl should not be together" or "I want him/her to have a partner with lots…
Although I agree with you there is also the fact that those who grew up with love can give love more easy. And in this case Shin Seo-ri did grow up with her grandmother's love compared to that rich heiress, as we've seen she doesn't have the best relationship with her mother.
In reality it is really hard to have matching values with those from different backgrounds, unfortunately fixing an unloved child as an adult takes lots of threaphy and filling the gaps in someone's heart is always an impossible feat.

she does not need to give any body back. She is shin seo ri she will just regain her memory as shin seo ri aswell.
This is the only way it would work, since Cha Se-gye remembers his own past why wouldn't Shin Seo Ri be Kang Dan-Shim's reancarnation too.

So far I'm loving this, scenes are so pleasant to look at, my favourite color combo red and black is lovely. I saw some people are not satisfied with Chen Du Ling's acting but I love her acting style, when she goes ballistic you can see the blood lust in her eyes. Not a fan of the reckless nature of the character but given the fact she was still young when she died it is only natural she didn't turn into all knowing master overnight. Though I hope she gets her sh-t together soon.
