some summers you don't want to end, this was one of them
i started this drama purely for the chemistry between the leads, that was honestly my only expectation, but i ended up liking it way more than i thought i would. the writing has its fair share of problems though, there are quite a few plot holes scattered throughout and the overall script feels weak in several aspects, like certain character motivations and plot points just don't hold up. but none of that mattered much to me in the end because the romance carried the entire show. the chemistry between the leads was the best part by far, every scene between them felt natural and earned, and that alone made up for the shortcomings elsewhere. on top of that, this drama made my summer so much more enjoyable, it became the thing i looked forward to every single day and turned into such a comforting watch even on the days the plot frustrated me. if you're someone who can overlook narrative inconsistencies for great romantic tension and just want something warm to fill your summer with, this drama delivers exactly that :)Was this review helpful to you?
