So basically, people just hate the actress and trashed the show for that?! ...Aren't people ashamed?! What is this schoolyard petty behavior?! At least if you wanna be petty, be petty like adults. Yikes.

Most people around here don't like sad endings. They think if a show isn't happy ending that's an automatic bad quality; never mind that some stories only make sense like that.
Please elaborate on your opinion. I thought he was great in Trauma Code and he was excellent as a completely different…
He is really one of the most versatile Korean actors who is always picking difficult roles that require nuance and distinct acting. It's so odd to me that his acting is bland to some when there are genuinely bad actors out there who are more famous and much much more successful for whatever reason.

It was so wonderful and emotionally touching because he was a man with absolute power who could have anything and anyone he wanted but the one person he loved rejected him...now that's tension-filled writing! I love that dichotomy in his character.

This show is so wonderful, especially for the representation of women and female perspective. FL was amazing! The tragedy in this show is triple fold. One is the obvious death stuff, the other is the loss of self and identity that a woman (especially one in Deok Im's position) suffers once she is married and lastly it's the tragedy of loving someone whose love is assured to destroy you, one way or another. Poor Deok Im. She really was sacrificed in every way imaginable. Stuck between a rock and hard place, no matter what she chose, she was ruined. Gosh, now I wanna sit and cry for her all over again.

The grandfather literally killed his own son. No one could guarantee that he wouldn't kill his grandson as well! Also. Not one generation later, this happens; the royal family runs out of sons, and they just continue the bloodline by adopting sons from distant relatives. It doesn't have to be a direct heir.
