I can maybe get behind the fact that he died here but then a different version of him traveled to this world. Maybe the one from the timeline where he jumped off the building? Because right after that we had that scene where she thought she saw him atop the new lighthouse thingy. Someone was totally there. It could be him. Like he just woke up there because that was the last place the OG Wansen was. I just wish the show had been more clear. It's possible they just put the hints there so those who hate sad endings can interpret the end more positively. Yeah, either way, this was such a good show. I even liked it better than Reset.

I know the actor was standing behind her but as I mentioned, I think it was her hallucination so that would explain it. It's true that it was never mentioned 100% if he lived or died but the evidence leads heavily towards being dead. That was what the initial explanation was. That he jumped to his death. Moreover, every attempt she made to find him led to dead ends. I know it's fantasy but even fantasy settings have rules. If the world of a story has no rules then the writing is bad but this show has good writing. The world had its rules and it stayed very firmly in the bounds of those rules so I won't assume that suddenly anything would go by the end. The theories are tempting but I have yet to see a convincing one. I just think the only thing that the show clearly states is that he never sent the "I like you" text in this universe. Not sure if that's significant. My theory is based on the fact that the show could easily reveal that he was alive the whole time if it wanted to go that direction. But when it ended, FL is still considering him dead and just trying her best to move forward with her life. So there's no actual textual evidence that he lived, There's just light subtext. I don't know. To me, it feels certain that he died.

I don't think that was really him at all. I think that was to symbolize how his memory always stays with the FL. Even if he is gone, he is still holding an umbrella for her. That is what I see there. There was no real, concrete sign that he was alive in the last timeline. If the show wanted to hint that he was alive, they could show some details that would make it possible but the mere fact that no one really knows for sure what happened is not enough for me. It seemed like the show was building up to reveal that he survived but it never did reveal that.
I don't see how people call this a happy ending. It was a bittersweet ending. The FL had character growth and turned her life around in his memory but ML died and that was honestly such a gut-wrenching experience , watching a young life fading away over and over again.
link? There are so many leaks, it is hard to tell which one you meant...haha...btw, who is that lady in your pfp?
I'm famously not a fan of republic era dramas! Lol! So I can't say about city of streamer. Yup, all modern! Surprisingly. Lately their historical dramas are too bland, repetitive, or just pointless. Also they're longer and I'm not in the mood!😅 I'm currently eyeing The Autumn Ballad and I really like FL but the rest of the characters are annoying. Reset is a bit overhyped but it's not a bad show.

Aw thank you. Yes, there's been a few good shows. If you want something exciting and well-produced, Reset. If you want something slow and emotional, Because of Love. If you want a high school drama, Shing for one thing. ( I'm watching this one rn and it's really good. Slow burn romance, fluffiness, and a suspense storyline.) I wouldn't recommend the other shows at the moment.

I don't have the link. It was on instagram. It showed the cast, not just the mains and it showed the camera and the scenes when they started filming scenes. That's Kim Myoung Hee from Youth of May!🥰

That's def a good show to get back into cdramas with.
