There were alot of people on the internet Blaming Shang Zhitao for not confiding in Luan Nian about Dony case.

One, She usually looks up to him, admires him, wants to be like him, so how would it feel if she cannot even handle it on her own.

Two, He keeps saying she is easy, Cheap, obedient, even if he apologies later, words have power, every word one says comes to life once someone hears it, so she can forgive him but she wouldn't be able to forget it.

Three, he is her Boss, involving him without a solid evidence would just make things worse for her, Their company has no Dating policy (atleast in the drama).

She is not at fault in this case, in other case she might have faults but this time I feel she reacted according to the situation.

Then, who sent those flowers ?? Like for a week she got flowers and no one revealed who it was, when she asked her roommates it wasn't them either

He threw the last bunch, so I thought he sent all of them....

Yeah!! Actions do speak but without words how will people know who was responsible for those actions. Like he kept sending flowers, without any note, and then said she is like a foxtail, what should that person make out of this.😂
Even with those items in his washroom, when asked "Are this for me?" , He could have said an "yes" or a nod or just silence but dude had to say a paragraph worth words.

Honestly, I think him not giving her preference was a form of respect he gave her, he believed in her abilities.

She is quite bold in the novel, that's why they seem quite perfect. Like her issue - Inferiority Complex
His issue - Control. But in the novel I don't remember any backstory of his difficult childhood as the drama, like he was a control freak right from the beginning, and he had inherited it from his dad but he didn't have a bad relationship nor a good one with his dad, and he did not have any company that he failed to protect, so that's a bit turn off for me in the drama, it's like they are justifying him, why can't they just make a person have a Complex personality. Even the female lead, she was shy but bold, but drama changed her personality too.

Here he is savage, roast style funny, while there he is clumsy, carefree and situational funny.

Lady was the real Bob the builder, she transformed the guy, before her , he was a jerk to every girl, but he does say hurtful things and he does look down on most people, even lumi.

If we don't put our own morals on to his personality, he is funny, and Honestly, I find it pretty realistic too, like we all have to work on the relationship unlike most dramas, there is no one who is so Perfectly in sync with you, it takes time, in Luke's case it takes years.😂
So I have a love and hate relationship with this character.

He is loyal, after their breakup, he didn't get a new girl nor a new dog. 😂
He would even secretly give the dog meat, and even the dog loved him more than her

After she left, he never dated anyone but his mouth is a huge problem, like dude will do things in secret and expect her to know that he was the one doing it, how to know that? Like he helped her, wouldn't say he did and then expect her to think it's him, it's like Her love language is words of affirmation and he is an acts of service guy. So that's the clashing point

He was has the worst mouth, You see in the novel they show it that his friend told him to give a present and gave the bag, but in reality, he gave it on his own and said "If you don't take it, it would be like you are discussing feelings with me". That was the point where it felt like, he is paying her. Even there are scenes where she feels inferior or insecure, because she wants promotions, and I think she traveled new city, in the novel he kept hitting that spot stating "You want shortcuts, confident people move with the crowd and win against it" whenever he is angry. And initially, the first time they slept, he didn't even see her as a human.

I actually liked that character!!! But after that jing bo ran had only been taking up serious, non chalant charcters. It's hard to find a Funny guy both online and offline.😂

It matches his personality but I don't remember the novel mentioning it, even though, when they initially split up before the actual break up, I think he had threw away all her things from his house. He immediately cleaned after they stopped the situationship and then regretted it.

He is until the break up!!! Dude needed that break up to learn to be a human instead of a Shameplant, like ask him anything personal and he shrinks.

Yes!! he always hated her male roommates, right from the beginning he didn't like her being close to MEN!!! I think, in the book when she goes for blind dates for promoting sun yu's business he was irritated too, That's why it felt like He wanted her to be his girlfriend while he wouldn't be a boyfriend to her.

Best way to describe him is A brat who walks his way and expects others to keep up with his pacing.

Lumi is my fav!!! I wish they gave her a life too, like her character has no story, hope something is added.

Psychologist, That drama was my first drama of jing bo ran and that is still my favourite character of his, those Colorful shirts, his quirky funny personality was refreshing after always watching Non chalant male leads.
