I think it's a Toxic gas or wild fire started by the Empress Consort, That marquis and that lu fang or something like that, that's why she killed him with fire. They say "Don't Give in to them", when she is running to the exit, so they know who has started it, since she wanted Empress dowager to ascend the throne, also explains their masks but how is it that she doesn't know that they might be dead? This would also explain why monkeys randomly started biting, due to fire the mountain is inhabitable, so they might have started attacking humans for food.
There is one more hypothesis, there must be a plague but, as soon as they started buring bodies to reduce contamination, it started affecting more people from the smoke, this would explain the smoke which we see in earlier episode and their covered faces. It would still not explain what kind of plague is it that didn't affect that one girl alone. And this would make the monkeys just a red herring, like after seeing so many dead bodies may be she had just thought them to be monkeys to reduce the sufferings.
The Empress Consort is really confusing to me, She is definitely evil but why? It's not like she can rule, at the end it will be the empress, so is the kid the consorts son? The one who is on the throne? Her helping the empress isn't making any sense to me. The marquis will gain money and power, so it's understandable but what does the consort gain? She already has all the money and power.
Also, how did the Decree that was with Ye li's mother go into the consorts hands? And why doesn't Ye li have control to her mother's shops? So many questions but no answer...
I have watched this drama more than 20 times and I still don't know why did Eun jae and Jong yeol break up? Their relationship was absolutely fine in first season, and in second season as soon as Eun jae actress changed , the guy just broke upš
I think he was her tutor and she saved herself by recalling his lessons and using them.
I think so, Like see the clip, he fights with a branch and at the end it's Ye Li who falls unconscious with snake bite. They are wearing the same color of outfit. He doesn't have his sword even though he was someone who always carried his sword. I think she has DID along with schizophrenic symptoms.
Help I need clarification: When did the Lishan massacre took place? I know Mo XiuWen was executed 8 years ago.…
I think 8 years ago when MXW passed away, that was the time when the empress dowager wanted to ascend the throne and Lishan people opposed it as well as Closed their gates, so the massacre of few people of lishan by empress in the name of protection by stationed soldiers was at that time, but many of them survived, later mountain became inhabitable due to some other reason and that was After she grew up.
The Master Zhu is just a part of her hallucinations? She saved her own self right? But why is that guy captain Li in the dark? He doesn't know all of them might be dead?
Can you tell me the episode number? I feel I missed this part
I saw it, and I remembered her words to the empress "My mother passed away before she reached the mountain due to illness", since they had practically closed themselves, if the came out it would mean that they agree to empress demands, also those soldiers might kill them too. I think her mother who had illness on the way to the mountain was the first one, she must have caught it in the capital itself but since the whole family was forcefully pushed to the mountains, it just means they basically killed her.
How can she just adopt mi jeong's identity and the police just have to accept that. Korea is a full of cctv. They…
Actually here is a thing you missed, Kim Mi Jeong actually lived as Sarah Kim, her factory workers were illegal immigrants, so they would be deported back, apart from that no one knew who Kim Mi Jeong was, she was a Run Away and So was Sarah Kim, both of them Did not have Registration Number, Nor bank accounts so it's impossible to identify them. That is how Kim Mi Jeong could impersonate Sarah Kim , Next is People around, with them it's even more easier, There was a concept thrown about JK Rowling being Robert Galbraith, A pseudoname, no one knew Sarah Kim, so if another person comes forward stating I'm the real Sarah Kim and the other one was impersonating me, then there is no way to prove who is saying the truth, they have just seen her, so she can say they were fooled, since no one actually know her, her name, age everything is fake. Lastly the scar, she can give various reasons for that scar, a surgical scar may be from various reasons, there is no record of it as well. The whole story is "We All Know, We all Saw, but we just can't prove it" Since there is no concrete evidence apart from her confessions
Guys! Can someone explain to me why does the guy have to be the one paying? I saw comments on the episode 7 where he apparently forgets his wallet and she had to pay ( it was a prank) but most people in the comments were like this is annoying, a turn off..etc I cannot understand why is it annoying for the girl to pay, like even she had the food, so is it weird to pay? Usually, I'm the one paying most of the times, and I didn't think it was uncommon until now.
After read the novel , I can say that Zhang Jingyi truly perfect for Miao Jing. Canāt wait for them
Is this a "fake siblings" or something like an incest story? Since in the summary it's written "they did not get together" for the parents, just give me a heads up if it's such a story, since I don't like incest or fake siblings trope.
They cut the episodes down due to censorship. Iām positive that affected the editing and development because…
Most dramas do have a censorship issue but they manage to edit it down well, these people just cut the scenes and didn't try to understand the continuation concept in scenes, and the color palette used was terrible, like if they shot the scene in the afternoon but the timing should be evening, they didn't edit the background at all, left it like that. The director is definitely useless
2. They were smart to use Thailand as their cover for Racing, makes it far more believable.
3. I loved the acting of the guy who played father and also San Lai, he was really good. others were good too, like that kid and all of them but didn't standout much to me.
Negatives
1. The director / Editor whoever has edited the Drama , Kindly quit your job, the cuts are so random in some points that you are confused, like in one episode, the edit is of the Mumu and Zhao Zhao walking on the broken pavement and the scene prior to that is added 2 episodes later, there is a scene where they are kissing or something like that and abruptly the scene is cut to her being somewhere else.
2. The Sun and The Moon being in the same horizon scene, Please director, understand the basic, how is it that when the sun and moon are in the same horizon it's Afternoon? It should be evening and the funniest part is that The light used on their face is of evening but the background is as bright as afternoon. Atleast use the right palatte.
3. The first half, I could understand Mu mu ,. She was a teenager so she was at times bold, at times shy, at times timid and at times mature, this is completely acceptable, teenagers are definitely like that but as an adult , who has faced hardships, she has No character development, she is the same. She felt 2D, writer didn't develop her. I cannot imagine that 6 years with her mother's issues and her life being all upside down, the maturity level hasn't changed. And the Male lead who was having difficulty walking on a treadmill, can run all of a sudden, at times it felt as if they just want to get done with this drama, so they kept skipping it.

Please someone explain the reason to me

And I'm also asking in General, is it wrong if the girl pays?
Can someone explain to me why does the guy have to be the one paying? I saw comments on the episode 7 where he apparently forgets his wallet and she had to pay ( it was a prank) but most people in the comments were like this is annoying, a turn off..etc

Usually, I'm the one paying most of the times, and I didn't think it was uncommon until now.
But what can you say, Chinese drama make leads tend to be "Genius"
Good Points :-
1. The basic Storyline was promising enough.
2. They were smart to use Thailand as their cover for Racing, makes it far more believable.
3. I loved the acting of the guy who played father and also San Lai, he was really good. others were good too, like that kid and all of them but didn't standout much to me.
