I keep thinking it's a dream sequence too LOL or at least hopeful for one. I really liked the dream sequence in TTEOTM; one of my favorite arcs even though at first I'm like WTH is happening? Is it them or not? Haha.

Haha, number 2 seems interesting and number 1 is the most plausible one.

I understand FL because she didn't call ML on a whim, it took her several days to finally write to him because they were that desperate, but she didn't calculate on how obsessed her brother in law was with her and how he wanted to kill ML. In the book, she got scared because she realized that she had put him at risk when he came back to the capital, but in the drama she was scared for him when she realized that 2ML had a hidden agenda. The sister and the 2ML were selfish; sister for using FL and 2ML for using his son. Sighs, still mad the drama made FL wasted 5 years of hers and Yuan's happiness over her sister's dying wish when that chick didn't deserve it. At least in the book, their 5 years was not wasted since they got a HE. And, like you said, they were doomed from the start. Sighs...

Idk what the sister was talking about but so far she's the most selfish one. Should have alerted the FL about how crazy 2ML was for her.

The novel's ending was good so they should have kept it that way. I understand why it ended the way it did for the drama, but I couldn't help to voice how it was concluded like that.

This was pretty good. I took a while to finish this because I kept getting distracted and putting another drama's priority over this, however, I'm satisfied with the ending for this. Funny how the villian was not shown much but his ending scene made me tear up. I did think the FL's characterization was kind of weak like no growth on her part. Also, the ML, I didn't realize that he was the 2nd ML from Butterflied Lover; he matches these bad vibes ML.

I remember liking The Blessed Bride, but I kind of forgot how it went. Since you've seen Butterflied Lover, have you seen Governor's Secret Love? It stars the 2nd male lead from Butterflied Lover.

I saw something like that on the weibo page, but the MTL translation confuses me so IDK what it was about. I guess we can only wait then. Someone did post 8 eps for this.

The last clip: Idk where it's from. I assumed it's from this drama since her outfit and hair accessories looks similar to her other empress' clothes. Even Li Fei says that famous line, "You can only be mine". Now that you said it, she does look like Yang Chaoyue in this scene.

Agree with everything you said. Yuan did fight for everything he believed in and died with no regrets. I feel sad for Suyan, she died with regrets. She was always putting everyone else first before Yuan and her and in the end brought him to his death. She could never make up to him in this life. Sighs...

Omgash yeah! I think mini dramas are so fun and it's a whole new world! I think of them as movies instead of mini dramas. Just because some are bad doesn't mean that others aren't good. I used to hate the shorter durations for the mini dramas and I have to admit there are choppy scenes or the story may not flow well, but I always go with low expectations and be surprised. Like when I watch it, I pretty much turn off my anticipation or expectation that it's super good since they are usually with a lower budget or can be choppy. I like watching mini dramas when I'm tired of the long dramas or have nothing else to watch.

I've seen Maid's Revenge too but think Bride's Revenge was so much better, just don't expect a hot ML with sizzling romance even though it has the same ML and SML, but you get a smarter FL.

A Familiar Stranger is good! You definitely need to venture into the mini dramas' land.
