Because they didn't completely disappear, one of their primordial spirit remained behind. As long as you have at least one of your primoridial spirit which survived than you are not completely dead and can be resurrected; much like how the heavenly emperor was able to come back alive at the end because he put his last remaining primordial spirit inside Yingyuan. I think Yandan and Yingyuan took a lot of time to heal before they could generate a body since their body was destroyed, but they were definitely helped by the heavenly emperor, yumo, and lets not forget the healing pond. Relooking at the special eps, Yandan looks to be resurrected from a lotus so she's still a lotus, but I have no clue what Yingyuan resurrected from; maybe from the lotus wood.

Yes, but I can tell that there's a lot of flaks and negativity with how they run their business. With that amount of money, 1) they did not promote the drama well, 2) their app/youtube platform is really lacking by having different charges and 3) once again were milking/smooching off money from fans for releasing a so called special ep to generate views when it could have easily been combined as a finale scene especially to those fans who bought the express package; thankfully I ain't one of them.

Yes! Sad how this drama fell under Youku. They were retaliating against fans too by not releasing a trailer, threatening fans of cutting leaked scenes, and messing around with the ending. Definitely should have gone to Iqiyi or Tencent.

I am super glad that they finally got their happy ending because they both deserved it and I'm also happy that they are still immortals LOL. Ugh, I hated how the demon king's wife kept lying over and over and over again with no remorse.

After seeing Cheng Yi in Immortal Samsara, I want him back onto this drama. Either him or Mark Chao then I'll be happy.

This drama was a happy ending. Youku just wanted to milk more money by making those last scenes into special eps, which was totally F***up on their part. If you know Xian Xian genre or about the godly world then as long as one of their primordial spirit remains than they have a chance of repairing their soul. We saw at the end of ep 59 that both of their primordial spirits remained behind and both went inside the lotus wood. With the Heavenly Emperor alive, I'm pretty sure he must have pulled some strings to help them. Also, they were healing themselves inside the lotus wood by that healing pond; although, we weren't shown how long it took for them to heal. One thing I found messed up was the demon king's story. I felt sad for him. His girl was a complete itch. I had to FF and eyerolled at her scenes because I found her story completely annoying. She selfishly used someone's love for her own expense. She didn't even know if her lover guy loved her or not thus she put that damn red bead to test if he really loved her. Plus, her guy be annoying too! Be talking crap about Xuanye when he is also in the same dilemma. Hypocritical! Sorry for my rant!

LOL, I take back my word about Mi. I saw snipbits of her in ep 18 and I'm not liking it one bit. She acts like a clingy side chick with no self respect and I hate that about her. Her character has literally turned into one of those typical nangrai characters who gets a taste of a slice of cake and then wants the whole cake to herself. Ugh and she's always mentioning Nus, I'm like dude, she's your only true friend who you betrayed!

Agreed! I think they might redeem Mi, but as of now I don't see her with Chaya.

idk how mi and chaya can end up together. he's busy sleeping around with the girl he used to date, dumped, and then disliked. weird!
