I think the whole Hyeri and Han So Hee, quasi scandal that public opinion dragged him into may have something to do with it.

This one is wild. It's an extreme he said she said. Both have physical 'proof' showing each side is the villain, and each side has proof the other side is lying. Then there is the possibility of AI generated 'proof'. Its getting harder and harder to know. At the end of the day we are stuck with:
Is it a violent actor or a jilted girlfriend doing everything she can to destroy his him?
However...
I'm most skeptical towards rumors that always come out the moment someone becomes popular. It puts these allegation on shaky ground of "why didn't this come out sooner?" When this happens I tend to lean towards the rumor is being made up.

These rumors always pop out when someone is on a rise in popularity. It's becoming hard to tell if she's:
1. Is making it up with a fake photo and ChatGPT created conversations because she: wanted attention, mentally unstable, jealous etc.
2. Telling the truth and the company is doing everything to make it a lie
3. Is telling the truth but held back and waited for this specific time to come forward
4. Tried to blackmail them and in the end sent out a rumor saying she had proof

I'm desperate for a season 2. It's one of the few times I was upset that there weren't anymore episodes. The show's folklore story and set design made me think of Guillermo del Toro. I think this was Joo-Hyuk's best drama to date.

As much as I really hate to say it, but I think the whole tax issue over shadowed the promotion. I thought it wasn't that a big issue, but I'm not Korean so I know I'm not fit to judge.

This was such a blast. I don't know why I waited so long to watch it, now I'm dying for a sequel. I was really impressed by how much Cha Eun-Woo improved in his acting. He really knocked out of the park.

This was addressed in Falling into Your Smile with Xu Kai. Girl sends malicious mail, parent says they can't stop her, police arrest her and put in jail... (Not reality, but there should be stricter laws.)

Deleting photos and videos from a device seems pointless. Once the photos are added to the internet there is no chance to delete them.

International fans will welcome him back, however I'm expecting funeral wreaths, protest trucks, and thousands of boycott tweets from Koreans.

I can't count how many times I've re-watched Legend of the Female General. I'm obsessed with Cheng Lei's character.

I loved, loved, loved, the first arc. The chemistry, side characters, and the story really made it worth the watch. However, the second arc was slow, by the time I made it half through the third arc, I gave up. Ryan Cheng is amazing as always. He's is definitely on the way to being the next great romantic lead.

Seeing Lee Do-Hyun's character name change between Galaxy Hotel and HDL, I really hope they keep his original identity.

I have to say I loved this one way more than The Legend of the Female General. In comparison of the general characters of each drama I felt Zhou He (Legend of Female Warrior) had a more child like character and Song Yi (Shadow Love) was a true warrior. Either way I absolutely love Ryan Cheng in both. Zero complaints, but I think he might have a shirtless and bath scenes built into his contract :-) ie: Legend of the Female General, Shadow Love and Journey to You.... Zero complaints. He is my new favorite period drama lead. Can't wait to see more from him.

I know. Didn't look at the sequel for that reason. I also got attached to the characters and thought "Leave them alone they've been through enough". But the main reason I'm not exactly thrilled is a trend of mediocre 3rd seasons. Like Squid Games and Sweet Home.

Finding out the reason for the games and how it was resolved, but I did read the web toon so I know who created and why the games were created. So guess I might have cheated on that one.

Should have ended in season 2. I have never been so at peace with a conclusion of a drama. Answered my questions, surprised me, everyone ended the way that made me happy. I didn't want more and didn't want less. With this new one I'm skeptical. If chishya doesn't show up I'm going to riot.
