Its actually understandable that people want leejongsuk to be replaced by new actors nowadays.Leejongsuk has been on the kdramas industry for long time.He had given us many great dramas on the past,When the kdramas was on rise on the international level,actors like lee Minho,gong yoo,songjoongki,hyunbin,jeechangwook,leejongsuk were the faces of kdramas.But leeJongsuk was absent on the screen for long time,he was enlisted on military from 2020-2021,he came back with big mouth,which was a very good project but when he was absent,new actors dominated the screen like songkang,cha eun woo, inguk etc.He shifted his focus on movies but those movies didn't worked well,in 2025,he came with 'law and the city' which was unable to create big hype,At the same time IU gave very successful dramas like WLGYT,right now new generation only recognize him as her boyfriend.iseop's romance was confirmed in feb 2026,now it's almost July,it's 5 months now but we still have got nothing not even female lead, Celebrities popularity is highest when their drama is airing,There are lots of alternatives now,It's human nature,if you don't get what you need,we go out searching for another.I know leejongsuk,he is a very good actor,his scripts are very good.He is known for romance dramas in the past,I have read iseop's romance manhwa,I can certainly say that lee jongsuk is the best choice and I am talking with the experience by watching almost all his past dramas,He fits best on cheerful,playful character rather than serious role.I hope he will have a great comeback with upcoming dramas like the remarried empress and iseop's romance,so that people stop disrespecting him and criticizing him

You are misunderstanding everything,I never said xukai or Zhou ye had billing issue,it is their agencies or managers job.I am talking for overall cdrama industry as new regulation was introduced lately to solve that issue and now it is being applied on dramas effectively,as for Turkish drama or Korean drama,I am talking about them as reference.i am just curious about why these things happen in china.I never said they are idiots,there must be a reason for talking so much time while other dramas industry do not,If you know the answer, you can give it otherwise noone is forcing you.Any other user can answer it or simply I can search on Google.

Now that china have fixed the problem on billing.It was a major headache.They need to focus solving drama broadcasting issue.They takes too much times to broadcast the drama,They don't have planned schedule for broadcasting.One day we have no idea on broadcast date and another day they will say the drama will broadcast next day.its too irregular.Turkish dramas are broadcast and filmed simultaneously,Korean dramas doesn't take much time on broadcasting,they takes maximum 2 /3 months to broadcast after finishing filming.

Major problem is sometimes they just broadcast 2/3 dramas of same actors at the same date.

800 was a serious,gloomy drama.i need xukai drama where his character is arrogant ,playful and powerful,SOTB would have been the best at this time to watch,but the production team and broadcasting platform turned out to be trash.

July/August is considered best season for entertainment industry as it is a vacation months in china.Every big dramas are arriving in these two months mostly idol actor's dramas as school and college students enjoy watching their drama,This drama had a problem from the very beginning mostly production team problem,bankrupty,screentime,boycotting etc.The first rumoured broadcast date was Feb then march ,April so on and now it is rumoured Oct.It seems they are not confident on this project.First their respective agencies played tricks on them on the billing issue, xukai's fans threatened not to support drama due to contract violation and screentime issue,later Zhou ye was caught dating by paparazzi.
Now July and August are filled with actors like song weilong, Zhang lighe,Chen zheyuan,Zhang jingyi wang churan etc.its frustrating to see the broadcasting date shifting again and again.

It is Disney plus most anticipated and most expensive drama.Disney plus have not large users as netflix,now with success of perfect crown on global level,it must have increased the subscription and there will be more coming like a shop for killer 2 etc.I think they will release the remarried empress almost at the end of this year ,when their every dramas on bucket is finished broadcasting.so that the drama the remarried empress will have bigger reach.

Maybe or maybe not,but there is nothing we can do,The shooting is already finished and we can not judge until we watch the drama.Both lee Jong suk and shin min a are known best for having best chemistry with co stars.seo yeji is a very good actress but she is not active in dramas nowadays.we barely see her,when I hear SEO yeji,only one drama it's okay not to be okay comes on my mind,As Disney plus has invested large budget on this,they obviously will search for more active actress who have proved herself in romance genre dramas as this drama requires.

I hope lee jongsuk and shin minah have sufficient screentime rather than more focus on sovieshu and rashta,more than others,rashta have the most unimportant scenes on novel like a filler.

Yes,but the novel is just ordinary.The novel has more comedy storypart than romance.knowing baijingting,I don't think he will choose this drama unless there is a lot of change in script.

There was a melon of baijingting and Zhang Ruonan second collaboration,which also became top trending on weibo,I think it was around february.and the drama from which it was going to adopt was from novel 'take my boss away' from writer ye fei ran,Before that in 2023, baijingting was rumoured to star in drama adoption from writer ye fei ran 's IAYTLMASAP.it was also listed on baijingting's filmography list which was later removed last year.The novel IAYTLMASAP is rated high than take my boss away on internet.

It's been a second time baijingting is linked with ye fei ran novel,the first one was titled love adapted from novel 'I advice you to like me as soon as possible'(IAYTLMASAP) and now with the second novel 'Take my boss away'.The drama love was even listed on MDL for a long time.
As, I had nothing to watch, I read both the novel.Comparatively I loved IAYTLMASAP more than take my boss away,Take my boss away is a parallel world drama where ML and FL life interchanged.The novel is of 58 chapters, they begin dating at 54.romance section was way too less.overall the novel is comedy.it is a fine novel.whereas (IAYTLMASAP) is a slightly long drama around 80 chapters,where ML and FL are lawyers,Their romance develop slowly from the beginning.But I think (IAYTLMASAP) is already out of box.However,more than these dramas, I would love to see him on costume romance drama,
