Yes, I think this drama is not for you. This is completely different from ALP although the characters were adapted from them. The story of MM is about Yuemi and Tianqi reincarnation as Bai Shuo and Fan Yue. They are no longer the powerful gods before. For Yuemi reincarnation as Bai Shuo here, she is no where near stupid or power hungry and manipulative. I don't think you understood the storyline at all. Chemistry is subjective, just because people see chemistry between the leads doesn't mean their love choices is like that. People who have different opinion as yours shouldn't be judged this way. Also, Bai Shuo never changed Fan Yue, if you really did watch you would know that fact but yes this drama is really not for you.

After this, I am convinced Fu Ling redemption arc will be heartbreaking but at the same time something I won't or might not be able to look past to because of how evil she is. I think the best ending they will give us is a tragic one.

I admit I was one of those who was so annoyed with Chong Zhao because of how he never understands Bai Shuo and keeps trying to control her decisions. With the recent events that unfolded, I felt sad for him. What he went through must be so agonizing and he had no one. Although I think this will push him to have a character development and leave his so-called boxed morale about his high respect for eternals. This will allow him to see the bigger picture and reality of course. Although, I feel that this outcome can either lead to him being an ally or an enemy. More so of the latter.

yeah it did get cut because of the zoom but I can definitely see them moving their mouths.

I have no problem with his acting as Fan Yue, I think his character wasn't meant to be domineering and dark in the first place.

When Fan Yue said he will go against heavens just to protect his love one, then Bai Shuo said she is willing to bind her life with Fan Yue's life. They really be there for each other.

The romantic development between Bai Shuo and Fan Yue was so well built up. It felt palpable and the chemistry is amazing. The romantic scenes they have are always scenic and romantic. The kiss felt so tender and sweet between them.

All I can say is moonlight mystique is such a good xianxia drama, there hasn't been a single episode where I felt that the storyline was lacking, draggy or uninteresting. Every single episodes contains so many eventful and memorable scenes that enriches the story even more for me. I really like how entertaining this drama is.

regarding the kisses I think it was really meant to be that soft and less steamy, idk if you watched the spoiler clips but they do have steamy kiss scenes in future episodes

Chang Mei is Linglong's younger sister and the aunt of the fox named Mu Jiu, during Rongxian resentment arc, she was a survivor hence the fox clan is still alive. Demons also have different life span years compared to mortals.
