I feel like giving you a microphone or megaphone.😂😂😂😂
Ehhhh it’s fine, they’ll just have to forget about the cars and figure out a new plot that can take place in the space available in the locker room. They’d save some money on set design at least 😅
I feel like giving you a microphone or megaphone.😂😂😂😂
Bestie I am right there with you, crammed into one of the lockers and sweating up a storm 🥹 Honestly they could film 50% of every episode in that locker room and nobody would be complaining
Screaming crying hooting AND hollering, what a first episode!!! I’m glad that the omegaverse element feels novel and fun to viewers who hadn’t heard of it before, but as a (partially unwilling) veteran I know in my heart this is gonna be the tropiest cringiest sexiest cliche-fest ever and I’m SO JAZZED FOR IT 💃💃💃💃💃💃 Pavel, my BOY my MAN my HERO, he deserves a knighthood an oscar and a nobel peace prize for his efforts so far 🙏 Truly obsessed!!!
Dinosaur Love was also really bad but in a different way. This one gave me a headache in less than 10 minutes,…
OOOOH that’s a good question!! First of all, Dinosaur Love sounds like the name of a questionable smutty parody novel, so we’re off to a brilliant start with that one 😙👌
Had a nose around the page for Dinosaur Love (a 5.9 rating???? on a BL??????) and it does sound horrendous, BUT people are saying the kiss scenes were good, so at least there’s one potential redeeming factor? 🫣 I’d guess wasted talent is worse, but I guess we’ll find out for sure as more episodes air…
Sidenote: If you watched Dinosaur Love, do you know why one of the tags on it is mild gore?? I’m presuming that the lead DOESN’T turn into a t-rex and start tearing off limbs, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep without knowing for sure 🙏😭
Ouch… Even on 1.5x speed the “comedy” aspect is borderline unbearable. Hoping TutorYim’s chemistry makes this worthwhile once the romance picks up, but I really don’t know if it’s salvageable 🫣
I see we’re also getting Flashbacks 2: Return Of The Flashbacks this episode, what a treat
Saint 😭😭😭😭 Where IS he what is that poor boy up to… Love By Chance was such a blessing and a curse, Perth really deserves someone on his level, or at least able to pretend they are 🫣

OOOOH BOY DON’T GET ME STARTED!! The whole scene was ridiculous!! Kang had just made his big emotional speech, told everyone that he loves Sailom, everyone stood up and applauded, it was COMICALLY positive. Then suddenly he’d stood alone sulking in the pouring rain, on a day that had perfect weather in every other scene, just as an excuse to bust out those damn umbrellas. Like some kid lending an umbrella to another kid a decade ago means anything??? The hug just made it so much worse, it made it such a bro moment. It’s giving 2gether finale high-five flashbacks. 😭
I want to be concerned about the trailer being… like that… But I know realistically my bar for this series is SO low. All they need to do is allow Pavel to be ridiculously stupidly hot, like he deserves, and I will be tuning in for every episode regardless of what the other 150 characters are doing inbetween all the explosions and fist fights. He’s been serving racer-slut for free for YEARS over on instagram so it’s only right that he gets to kick it up a notch professionally now. God speed 🙏
Update: I’m dumb and accidentally missed the “bonus scene” right at the end. Can confirm that the awkwardness…
Omg don’t apologise, that was all SO helpful and interesting!! Will definitely give it a watch, you have me fully sold! Also thanks for the heads up on Semantic Error being longer than I thought, I might still try to get through it in the next week or so because I know people went crazy for it
If you enjoyed The Untamed I reeeeeally recommend Word of Honor, it’s the same kind of censored-BL-wuxia vibes and maybe my favourite drama of all time. I loved The Untamed and think it’s absolutely incredible, but Word of Honor is a bit more… Indulgent? A lot of the plot of The Untamed is people agonising over whether or not they’re doing the right thing. Word of Honor is two hot middle-aged men who also happen to be the worst people to have ever lived, just wanting to retire and chill out, but fate won’t let them. The bromance is much juicier too, the tension is super palpable and you really feel the soulmate vibes. Only thing is that it’s VISIBLY lower-budget than The Untamed so the special effects sometimes feel much more cheap and gimicky. But if that’s not a deal breaker then I really can’t recommend it enough! ALSO if you end up watching it, don’t believe the final episode. Censors made them cut out the actual ending last minute, so there’s a secret bonus *final* final episode that you can only find online… 👀

Thank you! Just added I Feel You Linger In The Air and If It’s With You to my list, they sound amazing!! I tend to lose my patience a bit with BL plots that center around chasing a girl, so the description of Love In Translation is putting me off a little… Would you say it’s definitely still worth watching?

Ooooh thank you for all the recommendations!! I have ADHD so if my head isn’t in the right place I can struggle a bit to get through a series if I’m not watching it as it’s released, unless it really grips my attention I tend to get through the 1st few episodes and then my brain wanders off 🥲So I’ve actually watched the 1st eps of My School President and Not Me, but they just didn’t stick for whatever reason. I will give them a 2nd chance at some point though!! I’ve been meaning to check out Semantic Error for AGES, and if I remember right it’s one of those Korean BLs with suuuper short episodes? So it might actually be perfect for right now 👀 As for The Devil Judge, I had NO IDEA it was a censored BL?! I absolutely love Jinyoung so now I’ll have to give that one a go! Is it censored like Chinese BL where you can still see the romance but the characters aren’t allowed to do anything about it? Or is it more of a stealthy blink-and-you-miss-it adaptation?

Oooh yeah so he was at a restaurant with a client who drugged him and dragged him off to some hotel room, and Kang is obviously some kind of wizard and knew exactly which room and busted in at the very last minute to kick the guy out. Then he yelled at Sailom who was suddenly fine and not drugged anymore?? And they cried and hugged and then it never gets brought up again by anybody and has no impact on the story at all.
