I'm glad that the King proved that he cares about Prince Uiseong as a father despite everything. I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see any scenes between Queen Yoon and Prince Uiseong and what happened to him and Consort Hwang during those three months. Nobody seems to believe that Prince Uiseong can actually change and the Queen still doesn't trust him. Although her look in that scene means that she feels sorry for them.
I could do without 10 episodes of predictable Crown Prince competition and use that screen time to show more backstories instead. The antagonists made this show interesting for me.
It did hint that's what happened.1. She did not notice the Queen was mother.2. The Queen said to the Prince to…
To me it looked like she simply ignored the Queen and addressed Uiseong directly. And she looked around when she opened the door. If she has post traumatic stress this condition can be temporary, she may snap out of it any time or it can last for years. People react and coping differently. Sometimes shocking memories get blocked and people act like nothing happened. She needs good care and that's what Uiseong gives her by playing along and being patient.
I wanted to know more about Prince Uiseong, Consort Hwang, Physician Kwon and the people related to them. They are my favourite characters, their storyline is the most interesting. But they spent half of the show on the Crown Prince competition instead.
It's all about the family. And we can sympathize with the villains, they are human and they have reasons. It's…
Queen Dowager is the one true villain who manipulated everyone. The others are more victims of the circumstances and actions. They fought for themselves using everything they could. It's understandable.
The King can't keep his position. My prediction is that everyone will loose something in the end.
I haven't seen The Long Ballad, will put it on my watchlist.
Only that Vicenzo did not kill innocent people like Physician Kwon did (the Crown Prince). I see what your point…
But Queen Dowager destroyed Physician Kwon's entire innocent family. And the King now covers himself. Even the late King said not to mention poisoning in the autopsy.
Actually Prince Uiseong is a lot like the King. His mother helped him to get the throne, he watched his brother…
Ep.7 (around 8 minutes in) and Ep. 8 (39 minutes in) they show flashbacks with the King's brother dying and him watching outside the door. Prince Uiseong's grandfather is also part of this whole affair.
They already spoiled that Seongnam will be the Crown Prince. One of the actresses posted a behind the scenes picture…
First the actress who plays Court Lady Shin posted a selfie with Seongnam in her stories and yesterday the Queen posted two pictures with him in the black CP outfit. She deleted it, but fan accounts reposted everything and it's all over Instagram and Twitter.
everyone here seem to not like chungha and think shes not suited for gp seongnam and i disagree. firstly, shes…
Actually Prince Uiseong is a lot like the King. His mother helped him to get the throne, he watched his brother die and did nothing. He regrets it now and tries to select the Crown Prince fairly, but still he wanted the crown more than anything. It's understandable why Uiseong is the way he is, he's the firstborn and he feels excluded and overshadowed.
They already spoiled that Seongnam will be the Crown Prince. One of the actresses posted a behind the scenes picture…
This storyline is so obvious they don't even bother to hide spoilers. At least we don't know what will happen to the villains, those actors never post anything.
They already spoiled that Seongnam will be the Crown Prince. One of the actresses posted a behind the scenes picture of him in the black Crown Prince attire. Unless it was from a costume fitting and all of the princes tried it on, they spoiled the whole ending.
He’s the most obvious yet indeed the most suitable. I think by now we should all know how useless prince uiseong…
Actually Prince Uiseong is smart and has many skills, we just haven't seen his full potential yet. He's cunning and he gets away with things. He's the dangerous one as it said in the last episode.
