My Demon episode 4 picks up where we left off, with Do-hee proposing to Gu-won. Unfortunately, he turns her down, and she is shocked by his answer. Seok-hoon tries to step in, but Do-hee warns him to say nothing and starts walking away. Gu-won automatically follows, and she questions why he is doing so.

The two enter a contract marriage for their benefit, eventually leading to them falling in love. Episode 3 of My Demon documents a complete change in the narrative. While viewers thought it was about a human and a demon falling in love, the drama also includes mystery and thriller components

The second episode of “My Demon” keeps up the quality, with some incredibly funny scenes. How hilarious Jung Gu-Won and Do Do-Hee can be is amazing. In this episode, the demon loses his power which makes him nervous all the time whereas Do Hee figures out some hidden enemies of hers but is ready to fight with them.

While initially it seemed like Do Do Hee was falling for Jung Gu Won's charms, his distressing ways to regain his lost ability repulse her. The cheeky face-offs, moments of fantasy and humour sprinkled over the narrative, make 'My Demon' an engaging watch.

The Fan and The Idol Who Saved Her Life

The premiere hit us with comedy and tears all at once. One minute, we were laughing, and the next, we were crying. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but it was definitely worth the watch. The visuals, cinematography and music are perfectly interwoven to bring this story to life. Although this is just the first episode, Byeon Woo-seok did a fantastic job portraying Sung-jae. Kim Hye-yoon was also a delight to watch. They seem to understand their characters and effortlessly execute their respective roles. This first episode gave us a beautiful and sad introduction to the main characters. We have Sung-Jae, a famous idol who commits suicide after battling depression. His music saved many, but unfortunately, it was not enough to save him in his darkest moments. It is hard to perfectly sum up the loss his family, Im Sol, and his other fans must feel.In most cases, those left behind have questions and feel guilty for not doing enough or seeing the signs. For the past few years. Sung-jae gave Im Sol and many others a reason to live. In a way, he was there for her through her darkest moment. He showed her the light at the end of the dark tunnel. His loss is confusing and painful.Im Sol feels guilty and hopes to change Sung-jae’s fate by staying back in 2008 and saving him. However, it is not her fault; hopefully, she will realise this soon. It also won’t be easy to relive the sad moments in her life. She is the only one who knows the future, and she is going through twice the pain. We look forward to seeing her plan to save him and how it will affect the future. This show will heavily touch on mental health, suicide and loss. It can be triggering for some. However, these are important topics, and we as a society need to discuss them more. This show offers a great platform to start these conversations and shed away some of the stigma that comes with depression and suicide.

Kim Soo-hyun Goes Green with Jealousy

This is probably one of the best episodes so far. We are finally seeing some progress in the story, especially between the main leads. From Hyun-woo getting confused by his feelings for Hae-in to Hae-in melting at his caring actions. We also get an insight into their past as a married couple as well and why they are so cold to each other. Yoon Eun-sung, on the other hand, is planning for revenge but the motivation remains unknown to the viewers. Park Sung-hoon has done an incredible job of showing Eun-sung’s mannerisms and the mask he puts on for Hae-in and her family. His storyline seems deeper than expected and we are looking forward to exploring that!

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 8 leaves us with…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 8 leaves us with more questions than answers. Chief Ji’s mystery feels childish in front of the Bamseom neohumans. Her husband turned and Hyun-su killed him to save Eun-yu. As for the tunnel thing, her son probably turned too and she feeds him symptomatic people like Seung-wan. She also probably wanted to feed Mrs. Oh to her hungry son. But why did she need Ye-seul to cut the lights? And is there something to Seon-hwa’s pretence and Peter’s shadiness? Chan-young and Ha-ni may show up at the stadium though, to take down Ji’s son and Tak if he loses control. We also get the answer as to why someone as deranged as Ui-myeong doesn’t hurt Yi-kyung when she goes into labour. But this plot twist was possibly not thought of in season 1 which is why he treats her like a stranger at Green Home.It also gives us a small explanation of why their kid is so powerful, she was possibly conceived when Ui-myeong had already started turning. It also seems that Ui-myeong convinced monster Hyun-su who had blue eyes in the mall in episode 1. This is why Hyun-su changed his mind when he came back to his human self after the car crash. But there is one slow buildup we don’t mind – the cocoon monsters. Like Mrs. Im and the Bamseom monsters, they can control their monsterization. This means Eun-hyuk is more or less himself but powerful. They really blindsided us by not adding Eun-hyuk’s actor, Lee Do-hyun to the cast. Does this mean we will also get monster Ji-su in season 3? We don’t see her die either. The Crow Platoon has grown on us too and hope they are not all dead.

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 7 is possibly…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 7 is possibly the best episode yet. All the characters are moving forward, in some kind of dilemma or situation. Ho-sang’s motives are finally revealed while also reinforcing Hyun-su’s faith in humanity when Eun-yu defends him. Though this may throw a wrench in the Ye-seul, Chan-young, Eun-yu, Hyun-su love square.Lim slightly disappoints us as the main antagonist but Tak more than makes up for that as we see him spiralling and giving into his monster self. Doubt he will be a special infectee but we are still rooting for him. And while we thought Seok-chan and Kim were bound to die, it seems to be the other way around. The plot twists and suspense is confusing but not so much that it irks us like in episode 4. It simply sets the stage for the finale which is bound to be complex as it goes about solving all the problems, or at least most of them. Hopefully they don’t leave us hanging till season 3 airs a year later.

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 6 finally gives…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 6 finally gives a glimpse of Hyun-su though we doubt it will be a tearful or sweet reunion. Sorry, Hyun-su but Eun-yu is too busy searching for her brother. It is just unfortunate that Mystery Girl caused her to take a detour. As for poor Mystery Girl, why is Yi-kyung giving her a hard time? If you cannot handle your monster of a daughter, just let her go ma’am!There is a whole lot of conflict among the other secondary characters as well and as we reach the last stretch of the season, we doubt all of them will be solved. What is up with Ji and her secret room? And will Shady Peter’s storyline culminate into anything? Then there’s the military with each of them having different problems. Hope the writers don’t bite off more than what they can chew.

The conflict between Ji and Eun-yu is finally…

The conflict between Ji and Eun-yu is finally revealed in Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 5. But it is still not fully clear as to what’s the problem if Ji knows the truth. Why would she blame Eun-yu then? Also, Peter is extremely shady. He keeps sowing seeds of doubt here and there, though he does help Mrs. Oh by talking to her. He possibly has something going on with Ji-na as well but she doesn’t have much going on for her, so the writers better give her more of a personality. About time we got to see Yi-kyung. Wonder what happened to her and how she has the same ribbon as Eun-yu. And if the Mystery Girl is her kid, how did she grow up so quickly? Also despite being the main protagonist and antagonist, Hyun-su and Ui-myeong are missing for an awfully long time. The human survivors are definitely entertaining with their drama and pettiness, but more and more season 1 favourites are disappearing. Hopefully, we see more of Ji-su and Eun-hyuk as well in the future. It is very likely that the monster that killed Ji’s husband is Eun-hyuk.

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 4 properly introduces…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 4 properly introduces the new characters. Some are sweet while some are annoying, just like the residents of season 1. Chief Ji is sure to clash with Tak though why would she allow the survivors to call Eun-yu a murderer if her husband was a monster? But she is still kind-hearted to Mrs. Oh and commands some type of respect among the stadium survivors. Wonder how that will affect the plot…And while it takes a while to remember all the new names, it is definitely interesting with the new dynamics and conflicts. If nothing else, it has us seated for the new storyline of season 2 for sure. Something is up with the individual stadium survivors and they will definitely mess things up for our favourite characters. However, we wonder how Hyun-su and Ui-myeong will tie in with the survivors.

Hyun-su’s tragic flaw of being super righteous…

Hyun-su’s tragic flaw of being super righteous is now getting annoying. If he’d played it smartly, he wouldn’t have turned into stone now, would he? Though we doubt that’s the last we see of him. Who knows, maybe he has another secret power we don’t know about.Ah, does Ji-su die in Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 3? Is that why she doesn’t have a poster and is not in any of the promo content? But the actress, Park Gyu-young is said to be in season 3 as well, so what’s up with Ji-su’s storyline? She’s probably turned like Hyun-su for all we know. There are a lot of questions from Lim’s endgame to the hitchhiker’s status but there is no real overarching conflict yet. But that may be corrected in the next episode when the stadium survivors clash with the Bamseom survivors.

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 2 finally gives…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 2 finally gives the Green Home residents more screen time and a proper storyline. But is anyone else unable to see Eun-hyuk and Eun-yu as brother and sister after seeing them as a couple in Youth of May? Is he alive though? We see another cocoon like the one Ms. Im was stuck in so that could be him. However, about time Jae-hwan got what was coming to him.By the way, it looks like Sergeant Kim is going to be a problem while Sergeant Tak might just be the one who may side with Green Home and Hyun-su. Similarly, while the trailer showed Lim as this deranged scientist, there is more than what meets the eye. And while Season 1 doesn’t really show the full extent of what the MHs can do, maybe this season we will. That was pretty cool the way Hyun-su could bring back the monster’s consciousness.

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 1 answers all…

Sweet Home Season 2 Episode 1 answers all the questions that the finale left us. But is Sang-wook dead for sure or his memories were a way of him trying to take back his body? Poor Hyun-su must be so confused with the car crash. But why did he change his mind? Sure, Ui-myeong killed a couple of residents in cold blood, but his warning of Bamseom is legit. The premiere also sets the foundation for the humans vs neohumans conflict as the soldiers are more monstrous than the monsters. Also, why is Yi-kyung infiltrating Bamseom, does she think her fiance is there? Glad to see at least the remaining Green Home residents, hope they are not separated.

Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale Episode 4…

Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale Episode 4 reduces the slapstick comedy in favour of the conflict and the drama but the momentum continues as the story unfurls in a hilarious way. The leads are so unserious and unaware of each other’s feelings that it makes for a fun watch. Jun-young especially kills it as Cha-min who is a complete loser in love but tries to play it cool. The Cinderella motifs continue and are weaved in pretty cleverly. In this episode, we get the impossible task before the ball, Jae-rim showing up in her pretty dress at the ball and Cha-min falling for her. The evil aspect switches from the stepfamily who is actually nice to Jae-rim and instead, we get Dan-a and her cohort being the antagonists and ruining her dress. We do wonder why Do-hong suddenly changed his mind. Or was he only pretending to be nice to Jae-rim all this while so she’d secure him the membership?
