The link I sent is to an old comment on this page. when you open the link that'll be the first comment, but what you've read is a good analysis! and we all get it. when i finished this i thought it was a normal thriller...well. then I started reading and I was so shocked I rewatched it right away!! It was so fun. Definitely a genius show & book.
the villain killed many of the main characters even Bale never could, she was more intimidating than him
They were mistakes. Keeping Bale. Killing her employees to hide Bale's truth. Lying to upper management. Killing random korean gangs for no reason. Even the first Japanese operation where Jinman and Q met, Kusanagi had made the wrong judgement. Q would have been much better cause she was actually smart AND badass.
you don't have to agree - idc about your opinion. if you think she's smart then keep thinking that.

yes but with her all of those were mistakes or random sacrifices. Bale wasn't dumb, he was just psycho. So in front of her bad judgement calls, Bale seems better on surface.
first time I've seen a villain so incompetent but full of herself smh. atleast Bale did seem like an intimidating person. she was just all over the place with her stupid judgements. And this season was very predictable and plot is weak in many places. Still a good watch for people who liked s1.
ML's priority in life isnt love. that's just how he is. FL could have chosen the painter guy who would've made…
agree to disagree then :) because to me its obvious he loves her, she's his favortie human. he expresses differently is all. Also its a breath of fresh air because all MLs in dramas these days are absolute green-flags with no flaws meanwhile here we get to see a very reality like description of a person. Not saying to have to like it too! Just wanted to show a different perspective. Have a good day!
unpopular take maybe but this is one instance where its crystal clear that fl loves ml thousand times more , and…
ML's priority in life isnt love. that's just how he is. FL could have chosen the painter guy who would've made her his #1 for life but she still didnt choose him. There's a whole conversation they have about this in the novel. And yes if she wanted someone who makes you their #1 then ML isn't the right choice lol
And not everyone thinks the same, not everyone values love over work/money. And that's okay. nothing un-feminist about FL still loving him.
At the beginning of the story, FL says Sang Yeon never did anything bad/nothing happened so there's nothing to…
also after all this its a bit lame to forgive her at the end just cause of the couple of pages about FL she had written - but it lines up with FL's character and this is a kdrama so ofc the ending was predictable, but still, Sang Yeon did evil things on purpose and most people would not forgive that.
At the beginning of the story, FL says Sang Yeon never did anything bad/nothing happened so there's nothing to write about - meanwhile the girl stole her work, ruined her relationship (tho ofc the guy was wrong too, but she should've kept her distance) tried to completely ruin her life on purpose....make it make sense. I got so angry so many times that I cannot give this a 10/10. But the acting, dialogues, music and direction everything is perfect in this drama.
With time, I’m just convinced that there is never going to be another modern Cdrama like Lighter and Princess.…
exactly. and what i love here is flawed character of the ML. All other dramas just have the greenest flags now, its good but pretty boring after a while. Someone mentioned Love for you, but even there the character is shown in such a good light meanwhile in the novel he was very different.
Ju hee and Yun seo won't work imo. He's still in a very different mental space. Si Won and Yun Seo are only a year apart but you can clearly see the difference between their attitudes for their noonas. Yun Seo went in firey and was clingy & possessive like a typical younger guy, but all those marriage talks....hm. I mean idk them ofc they could choose each other and stay together but from what we've seen so far the chances of that happening seem veryyy low. (Bonus points cause she didnt like his job - I loved that part, it keeps the show feeling more realistic)
This show uses all kinds of music even OST from other kdramas, one day I heard BTS swim instrumental
yess i also heard many familiar songs its just that those exchange bg sounds are so seeped into my brain and related to ANOTHER dating show so its a bit weird, they could try to add some original music for those scenes to create the same feeling instead of reusing exchange's sounds
Honestly Ji Sung's behaviour is tiring. I'm on ep7, and she never really does much for Si Won but when someone else is showing interest in him, she's so bothered about it. She's kind of a mix of calm and chaotic, but on none of the extremes if that makes sense. Even at night when Yu Jin came back after speaking with Si won it was Ji Sung who kept asking her who did you talk to and kinda getting passive aggressive ("Its funny that you were talking to him so late") and then she's confronting Yu Jin about it?? Make it make sense.
why would she not date? They were away for 6yrs not 6 weeks. it's absurd to expect no one to date during that…
Oh I see what you mean. But ML let go of her for her sake, if he was selfish he'd never have let her go and he does love her. For FL too, in the novel its mentioned she dated other people but she was never happy with them, so she came back for him. So it makes sense to me that he's jealous (but again I dont like how its portrayed in the drama in such a silly and unsubtle way)

Enjoy haha
