People who get disappointed by this drama just need to realise its not a teen romance as the first few eps. It's the life of a girl - a daughter, a lover, a wife, a mother. This drama shows her entire life. I think it's an insult to want it to be a regular romance drama when it holds so much meaning.
They weren't enemies. Not any basic trope like that (that I can think of). just that she was a cold, powerful…
I read it a while ago, but from what I remember it wasn't that she fell for him first, it's just he seemed interesting to her and she found a way to stay close to him. That's why I couldn't think of any trope that fits them
Team Orbit & Dong Joo!See won was really irritating to me tbh. She said Orbit was using people like mannequins…
Also - Seok Jin was very lucky. His bond with See won helped him find out the code/safe stuff in prison. Then he literally SAW which game he would need to play in the prison and he had a whole night to prepare for it. He's a smart guy so with this advantage, I was expecting him to win, and he did. Once these things happened and he got so many more pieces, everything else was cakewalk.
My point isnt that he shouldnt have won, just that he had many things working for him that Orbit didn't.
See won was really irritating to me tbh. She said Orbit was using people like mannequins or whatever, but she used Yeon Woo too by saying things like "I'm your roommate but you still didnt tell me about the safe, you have to help me today" ugh. And Yeon Woo took so much help from Orbit but fell into See won's trap in a second. Also, yes she was tenacious and hard working, but during games there were many other people better than her. She never showed amazing performance or strategy, but she was the biggest personality in her "alliance". So I was happy when she got eliminated before she caused more trouble.
Orbit, Seok Jin and Dong Joo were the only people deserving the title. I wish they hadn't given Seok Jin the benefits in the finale for having more pieces though. Specially in the hexagon game. I was really impressed by Orbit though, he was physically not well but everytime he shined! If Orbit didn't help so many people since day 1, he would've definitely won. He and Seok Jin were the smartest.
The story wasn't that great, nothing spectacular. But LJW was magnificent. All the actions scenes + music were 10/10.
