Hate to be the odd one out but I am 6 episodes in and I genuinely do not get how and why the score is that high.…
That's totally fine, seems like you prefer something more story driven rather than a slice of life drama. For most people I guess, this felt too real and many people relate to it. The show highlights parents and their relationships with kids so that was a key point which many people liked.
FIRST of all - IU and CL graced us with their presence! Unbelievable. And the song choice! The whole recording session was so nice to hear, I love the song already. DAY6 and Si Wan being sooo talented. Hae In is a cutie. And Kwang Hee was so good too. Excited for the rap parts and more recording videos.
When I was watching it, I hadn't seen any cdrama with a sad ending (why do I feel like I still haven't lol). So I was sure it'd be a happy ending. When ml died, I thought he'd definitely come back, it must've been something he planned etc - cause there were some episodes left at that point.
I kept watching and waiting for him to come back. He didn't. I thought maybe in the last ep he'll come....he didn't......I thought maybe in the second half of the last ep he will come.......FL JUMPS OFF. I CRIED SO MUCH I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.
It was the most painful experience because I was literally in denial guys.
I haven't seen my parents for more than 2 years. Recently I've been itching to go home and see them again. This drama came at the perfect time for me. Gave me a month full of tears and even more longing to go see my parents. I really wish I see them this year :(
Some might say the main couple is too perfect, as they always seem caring, infinitely patient, etc. But as I mentioned…
I agree for the most part. But I think they showed some flaws too, like the parts where their son felt left out always. And geum myeong feeling pressure to do well. These are very common things many people must've felt. It's not because our parents want to cause us pain though, they do everything they can for us, just like the main couple here, but they still couldn't bring their kids up "perfectly" without any issues.
But it's fine. "Perhaps there are no grown ups". It's our parents' first life too.
I’m just gonna be the one to say it because no one else will. There is a clear decrease in quality when the…
I can tell my personal opinion : I loved the kids' story and I would watch a show even on that.
However, the point here wasn't their stories. It was ae sun and gwan sik. Most parents care more about their kids than themselves. I think it was very important for us to know their kids to know how their life was when they both grew old.
Also, I have seen many dramas with good script that I still wasn't able to finish or they didn't leave an impact on me. But if a drama makes me feel so connected to it that I think about it daily even after finishing it, that's a 10. So a 10/10 is subjective. For you it might not be 10, that's fine, but please don't disregard other people's judgement.
I sadly agree with you. The first 6 episodes were the best of any kdrama but I can’t force myself to care about…
If you don't like those parts, that's absolutely fine, but many people enjoyed those too. Infact the second half to me is as strong as the first. So I don't think people rated 16 eps show based on the first few
GOOSEBUMPS!!!!!!!!!!!
