This series is such a hidden gem. It's been sitting in my PTW for so long, I have no idea why I didn't start it sooner.
It was confusing at the beginning - I had no clue what they were showing us and what was going on, but it all started making sense after a while.
I found it hard to keep up at times, but not because of the serie itself. The only sub I found that was legible, was most likely a direct translation. The characters usually said "me, I, myself" when referring to someone else, so I needed more time to get who and what they were referring to, which messed me up, especially when the conversations were more dynamic.
I loved Makiko, he was such an interesting character to me. Loved how empathetic and expressive he was.
Aoki and Suzuki were shockingly different to me by the end. I even began wondering if they were played by different actors.

Honestly, I need more series like this😭 all the actors did a great job, I felt so much with each case. They sucked me in, which doesn't happen often

What is that ending.... I just binged the series because I thought it was complete. I was so certain there were more eps coming, but apparently not? I NEEED a 2nd season wth

Honestly I would've rated it 10 if not for the ending/ last ep. It was so rushed, I was hoping for more Gao Tu and SWL, especially the talk after reuniting. I loved the MC, but I feel like the whole pregnancy was rushed.

I'm not sure how it was in the novel, but apparently the ending was rushed too. It would've been nice if the series added something to the story at the end. Especially more Gao Tu and SWL, I need more of them. It feels incomplete. I'd love to see more backstories to their lives too.

But all in all, I loved it. I've always stayed far away from omegaverse so at first I felt that I'd skip it. After seeing clips from the series on shorts, I decided to give it a try. I don't regret it at all - it's one of the best bls I've watched (but I need more GT and SWL😭.
