oh my god. i started this for ongsaâs pretty eyes (and some short clips of the kisses and chemistry that looked really good) but this show has me on a chokehold the pacing is really really good love that they took their time with the âpastâ giving us two full episodes to already be obsessed with both main characters and their relationship, we also got to see bothâs parents reaction to their relationship which.. was definitely hard to watch, but incredibly well done love how despite how both phobâs mother and tinnâs father reacted, which is poorly to say the least, there is much more to it than just homophobia or whatever shallow thing it usually is in bls i can bring myself to disliking phobâs mother because i can feel just how much she is worried about her son, she is scared for his safety and about him getting hurt, which is valid given how the show takes place in the 20âs and 30âs. theres definitely homophobia on her side but i think its more that she is very unfamiliar and stick in her beliefs than actually just hate. i do love that phob stands up for himself nonetheless. while i do have very mixed feelings about tinnâs dad, firstly about how he started beating up phob once he found out and while i see he does care about his son, i do hate how he is putting so much pressure on him, his sonâs feelings are not quite as important to him as his duties, and the way the royal family is perceived. also which actually leads me to the next topic i wanted to bring up, the way he is treating his people, and that political mindset of his is messed up, but again it is realistic given the time period. i do absolutely love the political aspect of the show. with the conservative side and the progressive side that is planning a coup against the monarchy and regime. its very interesting, i did not expect the show to go that direction and im definitely pleasantly surprised. i wanted to mention the women of this sjow as well!! of course, siri is a character i liked from the very beginning and i just keep on loving her more and more as the show progresses. while the reporter (somehow i dont remember her name yet :,)) it was love at first sight for me, she is amazing, so strong and such an iconic female representation, in a historical show that is very much politically oriented, she is just flipping amazing the chemistry between both of them is already so good i cant wait for their relationship to blossomđ«¶đ» whats better than powerful women? when they start a relationship! and oh my god. i am absolutely obsessed with phobtinnâs relationship, the chemistry is genuinely just perfect, top notch, the acting is incredible, both actors make us feel everything their characters are feeling with actions alone their more intimate moments are not only beautiful and giving us all butterflies, t they have also so mich emotional depth, as states in the comments below, rather than just having the protagonist kiss for fanservice, the kisses all have a very important role in the relationship development its just brilliant one thing i would like to point out that bothered me is that play they watched with the very obvious black face and phob referring to the character as âdirty and uglyâ. i dont think they included that to denounce anything. so yeah its just offensive. but other than that, i am hooked, these four episodes made me go through a rollercoaster of emotions, and had me want to eip my hair off from stress (and probably because i am too emotionally involved + i lack sleep) what a great great show, i cant wait to see more, i will count the minutes
his acting is actually really good, the writing for the character is what might throw you off, hes kind of a comedic relief in this universe that is rather serious but i genuinely think he is portraying the character exactly like it was intended too it just can seem cringe to some i guess and give that feeling of âbad actingâ
Each of their kisses shows different emotions and their state of mind at that moment. I cannot praise their kisses…
no because this is EXACTLY IT, they kiss so much youâd expect its just to please the audience but it really isnt, it is so important to the development of the relationship and tells so much about how the characters feel the way tinn gave in during their latest kiss in ep4, it was so powerful, the yearning and passion expressed just perfectly everything hes been through in the past 11 years, how much hes missed phob, and how bad he feels for nor being here for him during hard times it has so much emotional depth i have a hard time breathing while still having palpitations and butterflies its incredible
why are so many people disliking yhe show? im so confused tbh im LOVING IT ive binged the whole 11 episodes so many that made it more enjoyable because, yes, the episodes are too short, but i thought this drama is beautiful and sea(michael)'s acting and performance makes it better im kinda obsessed with him so il biased but i think its good nonetheless
đđ so am i the only one who thinks sea is like absolutely gorgeous and his smile lights up a room in an…
you said at first he looked like an average looking guy? we obviously have different opinions cause from the first time i saw him i thought he looked crazy beautiful, that's why im surprised you said that/thought like that im sorry if i sounded rude but no need to be passive aggressive
