Why???
Of all the Japanese series released in recent years, *Cosmetic Playlover* definitely didn't need a second season.
Nothing—I repeat, nothing—happens here. It’s an endless cycle of going to work, talking about what a great company ROMY is, walking down the street recounting the workday and going to sleep; that’s how the series plays out across the entire second season.
If the series had focused on Toma’s trip to Paris and actually developed that storyline, it might have been more interesting. But no, they’re saving that for—who knows—maybe a third season.
Completely unnecessary, unfortunately :(
So, here is a list of series that actually deserved a second season:
My Personal Weatherman
Our Dining Table
Happy of the End
Kabe-Koji-Nekoyashiki-kun Desires to Be Recognized
My Love Mix-Up!
Depth of Field
School Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close To
Tokyo in April Is...
I Hear the Sunspot
Love Is a Poison
