Actually very surprised to see that a lot of people did not like the show so far. I think it's doing great as a "silly goofy no critical thinking needed" show but I wonder why it's not doing it for other people.
does anyone know if i have to watch season 1 and 2 before this or are they unrelated?
You don't have to. They have like small callback of jokes from earlier seasons but they also give you context for that. All seasons can be watched independently. I would def recommend season 1 though. It was so GOOD
im pretty sure they do other work in their down time. and also the ML had a lot of hystorical stuff so i assume he could sell them. not to mention the other family member he has that are not cursed can work and make money.
I knew he wasn't dumb enough to fall for that voice thingy. He knows Jian would never say that. Also knew he was coming back cause they never showed him killing himself. Just he goes in and then he is in a pool of blood. He is insane fr for leaving Jian to fend for herself tbh
For those saying it’s mid and overrated we did like for you to create your own kdrama and let’s see if it’ll…
Theres a difference between us the common masses vs. a very established writer with a huge budget. Just because we are not expert in a field doesn't mean that we cannot criticize things that we invested time in and did not like. The writer is wayy too decorated to make this show into a shitshow. The only saving grace of this are the insanely talented actors who were heavily underutilized.
i have never rolled my eyes so hard at a character getting shot. I hate when they nerf smart characters into clowns cause they don't know how to write a story
i think he is usually doing roles that doesn't require a lot of emotions. You can watch just friends for more…
but those aren't strictly investigation genre. Those are very much romance genre with different setting. This is crime/investigation with some romance in it. The only character with heavy emotions in this drama are the victims. Like the mother of the kidnapped child. All the detectives have their own designated emotion to portray. Hoons emotion is silly/goofy and he is doing fine with it. I know where you are coming from I felt the same when I say signal too. But then I saw his other roles and he usually does non emotion roles and is always the silly goofy character to ofset his hotness ig. I haven't watched move to heaven(which I assume would be his emotion related roles) so IDK how he does in truly emotive shows. But these characters really don't require emotional portrayal of anything other than their designated ones.
