I said in the other forum that they should have modeled 9 off a real person who was in a coma and just had the AI bot be made to hold his psyche or subconscious together.
It didn't bother me either way but I can see why some people thought it was weird. Not having the tattoo was a good touch because when he is sent back, he's not "just a robot" anymore.
Though I feel like the storyline would have been better if 9 was modeled off a live person. Maybe that person could be in a coma and the AI robot was a "shell" meant to just keep the psyche together. They wouldn't have even had to change much to go that route. The person could have woken up and had all the memories of the AI bot since it was holding his subconscious together. Then it could have spent those years searching for the man it loved but never met.
The age difference with Bom is probably what has stopped them from doing more BL series together. That doesn't mean they can't do slice of life style stuff though. Really don't know why they aren't in more things. The fanbase is solid.
Can someone explain to me why Krist is so popular? Is it just from SOTUS? I don't see it and I am trying so hard but I want to drop this. He's distracting to me.
They had great chemistry. It's really a shame when you find a good BL pair but they are under bad management. If these two were with a bigger company and could refine their skills more, they could really do well.
Chinese and Taiwanese story telling can be really illustrious but it is so agonizingly slow sometimes. The kids had way too much screen time. We didn't need to be reminded they were best friends every 5 minutes. The other couple served no purpose. I felt like the "main" couple never had time to do anything with everyone forever butting into their business.

It's too bad that not all BL markets pair their actors in on-going series like they do in Thailand. They will give additional seasons but not a new series together. If actors work well together I don't understand not capitalizing on it. Hopefully they get to do another series together.

When you think back to some of her dumbest moments then realize she was probably doing stuff on purpose, it's really messed up. I think she was way more involved in some things than she admitted to. The aunt was meant to be a villain but I actually liked her character better than the other actresses. Win was lowkey psychotic at first and he was ruining the business. So she had a valid point.
My only complaint is that I feel like after all that drama that we definitely deserved more than a 10 minute montage of their relationship at the end. The second to last scene was super cute, but not long enough for me to get the warm fuzzies 🙂↕️

I love Mix's eyes. How anyone can look into them and not immediately turn into putty is beyond me. I feel like FourthGemini's story could have been a standalone series though. Both plots happening simultaneously was almost too much to be emotionally invested in. And that just goes to show how well both sets of actors sold their stories. But I was feeling a little beaten up by the angst towards the end.
The BL world raves about MaxTul, but this was my first series with them. I understand that their casting got more mature themes later on because they simply were not believable as students.
Their NC scenes are like....carnal? IDK but it was like watching a lion and a bear get it on. It was rough and painful looking. There's a way to be dominant without scratching the other person or leaving big red hand marks. I actually winced a few times.
Was not a fan of the female roommates but I appreciated that they had roles outside the cliché and were not whiny and weird like the ex girlfriends.
It was a chore to get thru ITSAY. Everyone raves about that series. I didn't like it at all. I'm going to try to get thru this one but I can see myself time skipping to finish it faster.
Much like UWMA, I lost my momentum to watch after episode 6. Strong start but lost me along the way. I ended up time skipping the other episodes. I think these leads have good chemistry but the storyline was not enough to carry 12 one hour long episodes. They really should have made it 6 or 8.
I think the turning point for me getting bored was when Team turned into a big baby. At that point he just became another Pharm and their story basically became a repeat of UWMA. I really liked Team's edge in earlier scenes. There was this whole other side to him that his friends didn't see that I thought made him pretty cool. Then it went left somewhere along the way. I don't know why they write these juniors like they can't function without a senior hovering over them all day.
