I agree with you but as a queer person, I have to tell you that this idea of queer relationships in most bl/bromance drama being something that needs be be vague or undefined isn't doing any good. Is being queer something that can't be talked about? These people weren't portrayed as friends, I hope you know. If they can't do a good queer drama, then don't do it at all. And this isn't because no kiss, it's because it's so undefined, you can call these people friends. Very bad depiction of queer relationships.
