Youku really fucked up this show for me. It’s been a long time since I was totally invested in a show. I endured the heartaches and headaches, hoping for an epic ending (not necessarily happy), but they were totally lazy during the last 5 episodes. I was hoping that TTJ would embrace his evil destiny to maintain balance between good and evil, but no, the writers went with the generic route and made him do the ultimate sacrifice… ughhhh I even paid for the special episode but turned out it was just some interview shizzzz. I hope bai lu’s next show will come out soon. I need my sanity back.
i love ZLH! i'm not sure who i like more ZLH or LYX...
Didi’s character kind of overshadowed ZLH in LBFD , but damn this trailer. He’s so hot here. Hopefully his chemistry with bai lu will be fire. Bai lu has the best chemistry with LYX and xu kai so far. But I hope that ZLH will also be up there esp since they’re dating in real life. She’s so lucky😅
Finally had the heart to watch the last episode. I enjoyed the drama but I don’t think I’ll be watching this again. Too much heartache and putting my mental health on the edge.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the people here. It’s fun going crazy with all of you every week. Till our next series! 😉
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the last 3 episodes so far is becoming too messy with lazy writing.
TTJ doesn’t want to be the devil god, I get it but why does he feel the need to eliminate his followers? It’s not like the immortal sects were saints. We all know they have done worst things. I also think that the balance between good and evil is important. Like to appreciate the good, you should experience the worst in life and rise above it. I mean with everything he’s been through, he can use that power to maintain that balance and be the bad ass devil god that he is destined to be.
They gave bitchang a redemption arc, but they messed up XL’s character so bad. They made him stupid, insecure and evil?? Like really?? Give the man a break. He’s one of the purest character to begin with.
And lastly.. all the blood spitting, the betrayal, the immortal sect just blaming everything on TTJ without investigating, LSS and TTJ lack of communication.. it’s becoming torture for me.
The only redeeming part is the last few minutes in episode 39 which reminded me of why I actually loved this drama. So anyway I just need to let it out. Here’s to still wishing it to be a satisfying ending. Doesn’t matter if it’s a sad ending, but I hope they give us an epic one.

Yes they are trying to go to war based on hearsay. I also hate what they did to the character of GYJ. Like there’s no redemption arc from him. atleast he was pure and likable before . Now he’s unlikable, tainted and stupid.
Don’t tell me they will try to kill each other again during the wedding. I am so done with them hurting each other. It’s becoming redundant at this point.
They showed PR. I miss her. I wish they also showed TTJ mourning for her. They were like brother and sister and he didn’t even mention her after. She did so much for him. I mean she only had one vacation leave.☺️
