No bruh ep 11 hurts 😭 what's gonna happen we only have one ep left?! It's a series including their love about films and this is a japanese series so I'm afraid for the last ep. I need special ep wth
After a month long of back & forth putting it on hold and watching it and with the power of skip button, I finally finished it. Had high hopes on this series bc of the hype and the main leads but it's like when you read a novel, won't stop reading it waiting for it to get better but it's 5am already and you still keep waiting, still not getting anything. Rather than getting immersed into the story & romance, I feel disconnected. Idk maybe I just did not expect for the present to be at ep 20s?
I get the fl has issues but I feel like when they were teenagers she did not really love him. She started to approach him bc of her mom but I didn't feel like she get passed that motive. No eureka moment when she realised she came to care about him more. Suddenly they were eloping like wth. Again, I feel disconnected. I was not convinced of their love.
I tried hard to finish & like it though but yeah 😭
I wrote thia comment below My aummer of you and I'll also put it here because I think some people need to read…
Honestly, this is why I love japanese bls the most. The way they build the tension, the right atmosphere, angle and even shot scenes beautifully are so good even the subtle glance and eventually hand holdings make me hold my breath. I'd scream over their subtle lip touch than all those intimate scenes in other bls lol.
For the past months, this and Fake fact lips are the only ones among those bls I watched that not only have lead casts perfect fit for the characters with good acting and have chemistry but also have solid plot that never loses its narrative momentum from the beg to the end without relying on overdramatizing of scenes/storylines.
With the vertical dramas trend, I am afraid scriptwriters/directors think that's the key to hold the interest of the audience which is sad because if the plot just flows naturally, it looks more real, personal and resounds better to the audience.
I enjoyed reading this novel before...short, straightforward & solid plot. I also like the writing style of this author. It was pretty clean and tame on skinship though but I wonder if they will level up the spice in this series bc this is domundi after all lol.
I'll probably wait until it is completed before starting it bc thai dramas took forever to release their eps.
I dropped it a long time ago after watching the 1st episode and picked it up now after watching Ashes to Crown. It only has 30 eps so it is very fast paced, no breather lol. A lot of confrontations and scheming from her side, the ml's side, fl's father and her step family. Zhuang Shi Yang is so rotten to the core, I am bit disappointed with his ending. Overall, I still enjoyed it.
When I first found out about Inyoup and Hyeri in a second chance drama and a high school first love romance at that, I was overjoyed. It started good, I love how shameless Su Bin is but as the story goes, it is apparent that it lacks something. The lack of sentimentality & nostalgia I would associate for first love teenage romance which I love in cdramas with this plot is kinda disappointing. The middle and end part are a bit underwhelming as well.
Tbh I am more invested in Hana and Yugeon's romance, the tension and chemistry are crazy. There is more potential, depth & mystery in their romance than the lead's love story. Oh how would I wish they have their own series or novel!
Watched 10 eps straight, I didn't know it was divided into two parts. Despite the ending (I wish it could be hea) but still expected what would happen so I am not that disappointed. I would still give the last 4 eps 8/10 rating.
Help I'm still at 1st episode and I'm already invested. Why does it hurt when Phob avoid Thin??? I'm being dramatic clutching my fist on my chest 😭 It must be those bobba eyes of the actor playing his character. And wth Pond lol
Not the best & life changing but still enjoyed watching it. Could be shorter, 30 eps long is not necessary.
Good to see Miles in a green flag character after me cursing his character in Flourised Peony & In the Name of Blossom which he really done a good job in playing.
The crown prince Xiao Hua Yong is S H A M E L E S S 😭 I like Jin Zhao but the crown prince is def better. I just can't stop laughing over his delulu thoughts and his A+ flirting skills. Also, he loves the fl so much, he supported her at her side and believed that she is more than capable to achieve her goals and plans with her own abilities. I enjoyed watching this series but I just wish they put more tension-filled scenes or few plot twists throughout the whole series rather than putting them all in the last episodes because the middle part is a bit underwhelming, fortunately they ended it well.
Icb I only discover this series now. It is good! I really enjoyed watching this.
