It was not that deep, you do not have to criticize everyone's taste who did not like this series just bc you like it so much 😭 You do you I do mine. same for me, the lead actors have great chemistry, the idea of the plot is interesting so the beg is good but as the story goes, my gosh it was bad and they have the tendency of over acting/dramatic in some scenes which some vertical dramas do just to make the audience tuned in more 😭
The way the crown prince just see the positive side about Shin Xihe (her sending people to inquire of his medical records means she is concerned of his health 😭) remind me of that video content about "pov: girls ignoring red flags" I can't stop laughing not that Xihe is a red flag but it is so spot on 😭😭😭😭

Started this series 2 weeks after World Cup I can't help but roll my eye with the Messi's keychain lol. 30% romance, 70% about the Wan Xing, Wang Fa and the kids' struggles, dreams and friendship. They literally heal each other, it's so heartwarming. I cried a few times. I enjoyed watching this series I didn't even realised I am about to finish it. Worth the watch!
Well, that was good. 7.8 rating ??? Yall crazyyyyy 💀 The verbal fights between all the characters (esp between Xie Yanfang & Dengyi) are top tier and so entertaining. I found myself snorting and even did occasional standing ovations lol. Really, Tang Xiaotian is so impressive in this type of roles. It was also fascinating seeing the female lead navigate the ins and outs of the court. And she proven that it is always better to gain power and independence yourself than relying on a man *claps with respect* you go girl 🙌
Great chemistry between the lead actors (tension was so intense damn) and solid case plot. I know korean bls are fast-paced, the case could be more polished I wasn't much bothered by it since I feel like they've shown good balance between the romance and the legal/mystery scenes. Worth the watch!
Personally, I don't like that they spend more time on the "movie plot" than the progress of their relationship irl. Was quite disappointed with this one.
Oh this is goood, even their cases are solid. Most of bl dramas with thriller & mystery as second genre have very sloppy execution so I am pretty surprised that this really delivers.
