I just finished episode 11 and I don't want this Drama to end. It has characters that seem like actual people. Their struggles, they wear their hearts on their sleeves. I didn't know anything about this drama going in but it's in my top 5 for 2025..
Those eyes of Lee Sung Kyung, omg. They dart around like a deer's. The more she tries to stay cold, the more emotion you can see in her. Just an outstanding acting performance!!
2 episodes in. Do they really have to embellish each case for melodramatic effect. The 2nd episode was insufferable and no way does that go on in an actual courtroom. Also, for a 1st yr, does the FL EVER make a mistake??
She also was in Soul Mechanic where she played someone with a personality disorder and I thought she crushed it. The dating of her Psychiatrist was problematic to me, though.
Also, My Father is Strange which is highly rated as well.
Finally someone agree with me, Im not even watching, because they're only showing miji and her story, all story…
I've only watched 3 episodes but I'd like to find out more about the sexual assault or whatever her Boss did to her and why she dropped the complaint. Maybe because of Hosu, I suppose.
They clearly showed ANSP and the govt as evil and power-hungry, maybe you saw a wrong show by mistake
What I am saying was said by Koreans who lived through that era. There were many protests about the show. I'll stick with what people who have more knowledge than I about how they felt.
Just finished the show this morning and it absolutely wrecked me. This is a drama that provides food for the soul. I shed a lot of tears but the characters had plenty of good moments as well.
The strength of Ae-Sun to get to the age of 70 after losing so many people in her life and still being a kind, loving person, is just inspirational.
I'm loving this drama but why is IU playing a double role? It sort of wrecks the ageing of O-Ae-Sun, imo. Because IU is playing her and her daughter, we go forward 10 yrs and we get to 2 new actors ass the leads but the same actors besides them. Park Hae Joon looks around the same age as his mother!! The 2 leads changed way too much from the late 70's to 1987. It was quite jarring.
