I honestly started watching It's Okay to Not be Okay with the expectation that the female lead will not change. Yes, she can have character growth but it is likely impossible she will actually change because psychological disorders such as ASPD can't be "cured" with love **cue singing birds in the background.

Yeah agreed. Wu Huan destroyed Houchi's core which caused Gu Jun to sacrifice his life to return Shanggu's soul to her. . .yet no one but Tian Qi reprimands Wu Huan for her treachery. No wonder this woman is so arrogant and entitled .. everyone else is too much of a coward to stand up to her, even her own husband. Then because of Gu Jun's sacrifice, Houchi absorbs Shanggu's soul even though she knew it would destroy her.. ugh..this is all Bai Jue's fault!! I don't care what sacrifices Bai Jue's done for her. At the beginning, Bai Jue killed Tian Qi even though all Tian Qi did was for Shanggu ... so no. Bai Jue doesn't get a pass even if he's planning to sacrifice himself for her. Male leads like him; his love is very selfish and he's not worthy of Shanggu. In his mind, it's okay if he is killed as long as Shanggu survives even if it means he's destroying her psychologically and emotionally. No. She deserves so much better.

Even if that other doctor was struggling with the kid .. professionally, doctors don't just interfere and take over another doctor's patients. It's not only unprofessional but also highly disrespectful to her colleague. But, as a doctor, did that other female doctor not know how he would react to cars?? Seems like either she made a really bad judgment call or information was kept from her. Aren't they all child psychologists? And yet she's the only one out of ALL the medical professionals he consulted with who can get through to the child?? Ugh. Drama-logic. Then there was the whole "mom" thing. NOPE!! As his guardian, ML should've nipped that in the bud immediately. He says "Whatever Xiao Bao wants, I get it for him," what a way to potentially hurt the child in the long run.
Finished ep 8 and while there are many scenes that are very cute and the ML and FL are very lovable (visually) together, there are a few things that bother me.
1. Father and son duo are essentially forcing the FL's hand into this contract relationship. This little boy may have a lot of trauma, but the ML should not allow or encourage Xiao Bao to refer to the FL as mom before a mother-son relationship between them is established. Yes, I understand that it's for the sake of pushing along their relationship, but it's highly inappropriate. FL lead also tells Xiao Bao to not refer to her as mom and continuously rejects ML's offers yet neither respect her wishes to stop.
2. Drama-logic aside, why does she need to quit her job? No parent is with their child 24/7 and it's ridiculous that she is expected to dedicate most if not all her time to helping Xiao Bao especially when she is neither his mother nor his nanny.
3. When Wen Gu corners Yang Ruo Wei as she's making coffee in episode 7... yeah .. it may seem "cute" because they are the designated second lead couple, but what he's doing is sexual harassment. The age rating for this drama is 13+ and the last thing anyone needs is young kids thinking this is cute or appropriate behavior.
4. This is actually so common in dramas that it's cliche now but why don't professionals act like adults in their professions?? Doctors being gossipy and purposely trying to drag down a colleague all because of personal issues, ew. And why?? Why are they showering together ... in the middle of the day ... in a hospital room?? Without locking any of the doors?? Isn't that area of the hospital focused on children?? This is also true for Wen Gu's dad's company. Wen Gu comes to work late and unprepared and hits on his dad's new secretary (Ruo Wei) in front of his dad and higher-ups. Can we not have adults acting like children in professional settings?

OneHD is a mix of all the 3 depending on the cast and the subject matter of their lakorns. Ch3 is the most conservative. Actors and actresses in Kim and James' age range do have kiss scenes but it's more the cute, warm kisses in contrast to the other channels.

I'm not saying he shouldn't have done it, or that they didn't deserve it. It was a surprise that it happened. Normally in dramas, I feel like they try to make male leads very straight and narrow so no matter how evil someone is, because they are women/children, the leads tend to show mercy. It was just different to see a male lead act without discrimination.
Maybe it's just me, but i was actually quite shocked when Sun:

After the arrow incident, no one knew what became of her. The next time anyone sees her is at the temple after Sun's mother died. At that time, Changge saved Du Ruhui's life so he's since stopped chasing her down. Whenever Shu Yu and Leyan ran into Changge, they kept it hush hush so no one else from Tang knew they met her again.
The next time LSM sees Changge again is in this week's episodes when they run into each other at Changge's mother's memorial tablet.

Unpopular opinion but, I feel pity towards both Khatun and Sher.

He won't do it because he doesn't want to fight for Leyan even though everyone knows he could whoop Sher's ass and he refuses to lose against Shu Yu because it'd hurt his pride to forfeit to someone like Shu Yu since he can tell Shu Yu likes Chang Ge hahahha
