Masterpiece? For me YES
Uf, this was something I didn't expect. Tbh i've never seen anything like this BL. It really made me think about if I would be ever capable of taking care and romantically loving a person like Yu Shi. I really admire Wu Zheng that he didn't judge Yu Shi but instead he accepted the fact that together with Yu Shi there's also Noah and that he actually took care of him for the whole time. Let's talk about it bit more:
STORY: I love it! It's original for a BL and i think for any series overall. What i didnť like was how short it was and most of the time i was confused about if the situation happend in the past or if it's happening in the present. That was really confusing for me. Also omg- like what happend to the seconf couple? How did they got together again? What was the misunderstanding between them? Nothing. I have so many questions but no answers :( Also I was wondering if it's alright for the main couple to have a sexual relationship together when Yu Shi has literally the mentality of 5 years old kid...? Idk about that, when it was Noah, it was okey but when it was Yu Shi it was little bit weird. I guess we would have to talk about this with a doctor or psychologist to know better. Other than this, I really loved the story.
ACTING: Pretty good! It's admirable how both of the main actors played their roles really believable and real, especially Yi Da Dian ( Yu Shi/Noah ).
MUSIC: I like the opening song ( the one that plays together with the intro lol ) and the music overall fits there and it's good. Idk what else to say about music becauase i don't really pay attention to music while watching something so if it does not bother me, then it's good lmao
REWATCH VALUE: I will definitely rewatch this beautiful piece someday in the future. It is now one of my fav BLs/series.
OVERALL: Outstanding BL in my opinion. It's not just some high school students who fell in love ( nothing wrong with that ofc ) like we usually see in BLs. Also, I love ITSAY and it's just masterpiece and now I can say that Innocent is right under ITSAY in my TOP list <3
