see, usually i dont care if a drama is sad as long as the ultimate ending is happy. but i dont know if i want to go through a whole drama and then have to watch the sequel just for the happy ending lol.

came back to rewatch this after a year or so. it still feels like yesterday when they wrapped up filming... but it's so good. please disregard negative comments and give this a try. those who hate it must be looking for a loveey-dovey non-realistic drama like extraordinary you or something hahahaha. trust me, this is worth it.

have you tried it? it's not a total depressing story... just the main message. but i think as long as the ending is good, that actually makes the drama that much better. it's heart-fluttering and actually one of my highest rated dramas-- i've watch a LOT.

hated the mom in the beginning, but she really grows on you.. which i honestly did not thing would be possible in the beginning

Loved the high school part, and honestly think it was better than most other high school-themed dramas. But when they get into college, I hate how clingy she is and makes all these decisions just for him. like girl, make decisions for yourself. i'm not done with the drama yet, so hopefully that part changes. Currently see this overall as a 7.5/10.

okay haha i was assuming you understood mandarin and would be able to watch all the episodes. but dang that's a bummer..

im only on 13 bc of eng subs so i have no idea what you're talking about, but it sounds like the screentime issue gets even worse in the recent episodes... which is crazy bc even where im at right now it's 50/50... i was really angry but deecided to calm down and just treat each episode as 20 minutes by only watching the ML parts.

hahaha i love when dramas air WHILE they are filming, which i think is unheard of in china bc of the guidelines they have to pass. but in korea, most dramas used to air while filming so it felt more REAL if that makes sense... but these days they prefilm everything, or leave it until the last last part of filming.

very understandable haha i hate her too. but i love a good antagonist, it makes it that much more satisfying when they lose in the end 😅

can't believe cdramas take so long to air after they finish filming. makes me wonder how much time has passed since the characters last saw each other whenever they meet up for the press/promotion, etc. just me? lol
