Just finished ep 7, and have conflicting thoughts 😭
I love how both leads are so clever in manipulating the wrongdoers to carry out justice, and seeing Crown Prince do so even for selfish reasons like eliminating his brothers in the fight to marry the princess... while it's funny at times, I'm just seeing how GOOD of a person Prince Lie is, contrary to that one scene where he tried to kiss her.. but to be fair if it were Crown Prince doing that, it wouldn't be seen as improper. the double standard 😭 I hope Prince Lie drops his feelings for her, because I don't want to have second hand syndrome. and from what we've seen so far, he's such a better person than his brother>_<
Now that you are past ep 17, soon there should be past-life reveal so I think it’s worth finishing it (well…
im someone who drops many many dramas, even if they're the most popular and even if I have only one episode left HAHAHA for this one, I think I might wait for it to end to see what happens... bc you say you're on 22 and STILL nothing has happened ?!?! ... idk
I’m struggling on 13/14 just skipped and I wanna skip again 🤣🤣🤣
ppl said it gets better at 15 but I honestly don't know. nothing has happened yet it literally feels like 1-17 is a character introduction. and that's. over halfway. :')
wait! one question I never got answered though, now that I think about it again, is how LWY and JL knew each other? What are the previous memories from? The ones she removed from his head :')
it's complicated )) but in the end you'll get a clear picture about him
THIS!! Cdrama cast list always has random names I have no idea about until later and I go like OMG HE'S THE VILLAIN?! Or synopses deserving the last third of the drama as if it happens early on. lol
I always thought Joseph Zeng is too "big" to play the ML. Even though he is not actually fat, his body…
I love all shapes and sizes! And in a country where VERY thin male actors are revered for their bodies, I really appreciate some larger men (ChenXingXu<3) I never once thought of Joseph as anywhere NEAR big or fat. Wouldn't you prefer a man who can actually carry you and run in an emergency 🤭
Me just here for the first time and wondering why the actual f**K this drama has a fr*gging 150k comments here…
I too, was like you, commenting about how the hype seems unreal.
I watched this a couple months after it aired, and finished at the start of June. Now I'm back. ❤️🔥 The comment section here is great, they answered so many questions I had.
Up to EP 19. No lip to lip kiss scene so far. That's how I like it. China should quit copying from Hollywood.…
LOL china is def conservative, but kiss scenes are normal in shows, even in china's show business. Esp if it's a romantic genre, it's sort of a given. For viewers who are engrossed in their relationship development, it's also sort of a strong factor that solidifies the strength of the romance.
They're not forced to--some actors and actresses actually have in their contract that they don't want to do any excessive skinship, which is fine too. Be Passionately in Love is just like that, so maybe that's your cup of tea. Also The Long Ballad-- these two are all I can think of at the moment.
I do agree that Hollywood is excessive in showing sexual scenes for viewership, and at times it can make it just look cheap. But China has a fine line with what is appropriate, so rest assured you won't see anything more than kissing. If even that is too scandalous for you, just skip the scenes :)

the others have died?
