Such a sweet fairytale. A little bit of angst, a little bit of spice (which was quite unexpected!), and a whole lot of fluff and love. The story is simple and naive, but that’s exactly where its charm lies. It’s the perfect palate cleanser if you want to take a break from heavy, full-length angst and complex plot twists. And, of course, the eye candy is top-tier—Zhang He is absolute fire!
As is often the case, the first half is filled with comedy, while the second half is more action-packed. Occasionally, it felt like some important scenes were lost in the editing room, but overall, the story is easy to follow and quite engaging.
OMG it's a treasure 😍 Instead of passion we watch tenderness and care. Instead of lots of kissing, here a lot of attention is paid to the psychology. Instead of anger and revenge we watch the inner world of ML. Amazing drama!
I love comedies with Tu Zhi Ying, but in this one acting of Dai Jing Yao stole my heart 😍 His "girly" emotions and gestures made me laugh every time 😆 So despite some plot holes I really enjoyed watching this drama 😍
