The strength of this series continue to be strong especially with the different levels of academy and factions. After some consideration I dont specifically blame the ml himself but the source material along with one dementional feel and overall portray of this ml character. Whole cast are decent. Overall its a better watch than the other two costume series currently about to end. Worth continuing so hang in there.

I hope Meng zi will do amazing leading this series.

Actually enjoyed the academy story but you have to focus on the ml boring plot and character. Wooden acting. Completely drain any excitement or interest. Would be way more interesting to have the fox as ml.

Im not feeling this one... The fights are amazing though and the color tone of everything is great. Feel bad for yangyang. I wish he was the lead for fate chooses you but oh well. I think he needs strong cast and good production team to be great. Youku back to doing what youku does best. haha too bad.

Asheng is the antihero we need that is rarely seen in costume drama. Its hard for a villain to turn good no matter how hard they try. Another great character in this series.

There are many series in the past that i wish would end at under 30 episodes but this might be the first time i think that 40 is just right.

Feel sad for fl not only does she lose almost every fight but she lost her beloved master and asheng that loved her dearly too but the ending was fine. They reunite. I do enjoy her character very much and quite different from the usual costume fl. Maybe there could be a sequel with the tree situation. The good greatly outshine the bad by a wide margin. Beautiful and amazing cast. I would put this among the top 10 iqiyi tencent most distinguish series. Thank you for taking viewers like me on this ride. Its series like this that will gain so many new fans turning cdrama into a massive modern day success. We will meet again.
