This was such a good start. I ended up going out to eat hotpot just because. LOL. I can't imagine the effect the rest of these recipes will get to me. 🤣 If someone like Qiang Qing Ci were reading the recipes to me, I'd be ready at all times to listen. The way he said, "I love you" to show as an example totally captivated me. I can't even blame Gu Sheng for being shy. I can't wait to see more of Tan Jianci portraying a VA.

The whole story is basically told through the emojis but I don't mind one bit lmao

Wow. I'm enamored by the beauty of the opening credit. This is a whole fluff vibe & I'm all for it. On top of that, they really dropped 3 OSTs on the 1st day for us. 😭 At this point, I don't mind ending my year on a sweet note.
P.s. Did anyone else start craving hotpot after seeing them eat it? I wasn't even 20 minutes into ep.1 and I was drooling over the food. lol

Only a few more hours to go! I can't wait for the release of the OSTs. & honestly, after watching all the trailers, How could you not take a liking to a voice like his?! I'm already rooting for Gu Sheng & Mo Qing Cheng hard. The chemistry is a whole vibe😍

Let's go team small details and metaphors! I'm such a huge fan of such things in dramas and the team did so well with all the hidden meanings. Of course, we all perceive things differently but the fact that they took time to carefully put some good parallels in is such a wonderful thing.

I didn't realize until the 2nd time they had dinner and then again at the last dinner date where he asked those 3 questions. My obsession led me to finally read his lyrics which were quite relatable to his feelings.

I finally got the chance to share my review in the review section incase anyone wanted to read it. To sum it up, this drama was a perfectly imperfect drama. I'm going through major withdrawal mode. I can't believe Gong Jun portrayed 2 of my favorite characters for this year. So proud of him. I'll be keeping an eye out for Zhong Chuxi as well. It's been such an amazing journey navigating through all the small details and build up of the characters. To new viewers, don't miss out! 😁

Another detailed I noticed while looking back. Gong Jun's OST song always plays when Xu Si & Jiang Hu have dinner at his favorite little restaurant. Just goes to show that although he doesn't know how to express his feelings, just being around her makes him happy. Hence the song playing in the back all the time as his inner thoughts.

This! I applaud Gong Jun for portraying 2 roles this year of a more than meets the eye kind of person. I'll forever admire Han Ye & Xu Si. Lol

What a beautiful wrap up! Xu Si truly worked hard to redeem himself. I nearly jumped for joy when Xu Si thanked Mr. Du for helping him clearly realize the true value of being an investor to those industries. That was the moment I knew; Xu Si finally came around. 🥹 I cannot stress enough how valuable the theme of growth and value of life has been sprinkled along within the story. The story may have been seen through FL’s POV but in doing so, we were able to watch the progress of Xu Si span over 40 episodes to give us & Xu Si the closure we all needed. If “Rising with the wind” begins with Jiang Hu, then it has been a true blessing for Xu Si to meet JH. Her persistent, confident, loving nature radiates amongst anyone she comes across. Who couldn’t help but admire her?
I admire the progress for both of our leads. They both came a long way. I absolutely loved how he asked JH the same questions again. I really cried here. Now with better understanding, his questions can have more clarity.
My favorite moments:
The conversation, Xu Si had with his mother had me bawling. What an amazing conversation. A mother-son moment that was long overdue. Momma does know best. 😭It wouldn’t matter how much she tried to help him. He would have to learn on his own to be the best version of himself.
