Ahh ok. I read bits and pieces of the novel too. So far still so good for me. There's not been much major change to rile up any rants from me lol so that's a plus. Book definitely was way darker. Almost couldnt bear to read some parts.

This serpent story arc is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but wow that marriage was quite fast with a mix of modern day romcom marriage contract. What is even going on?! 😂

Pian Ran lost her love threads so she no longer can love anyone. Ughh and then her meeting with the brother. I just couldn't take it. I guess they weren't really meant to be. 😭😭 I still don't wuite understand how he really likes her but they're cute together. ☹️

Is it just me or the physical tension they have in here is subtle yet impactful at the same time?! Most definitely! Some of the darker gory parts wouldn't pass censorship but at least they're still making it have the same tone.
