NEED SEASON 2

If youre into those ‘it doesnt make any sense’ type then this is not for you.

This is not just a plain time travel story. To understand the story better, its also best to know that this is one of those story with timeloops & alternate timelines. Similar to that of Oriental Odyssey.. & yes it can be very confusing. Lemme try to elaborate...

1st timeline.. Adult FengXi dies. His hateful spirit was born, Eryu. And met an orphan WenXin on a war. (explained in the later part of the story when FengXi met Eryu) Timeloop..

2nd timeline.. youngWenXin grewup with Eryu became a general who fought against LuYuantong. In that timeline, both WenXin & FengXi died at Zhuming ( ayear after he reached the highest post) ( 1st episode) Timgeloop & time travel..

WenXin went back to a timeline where she was a kid, FengXi was an adult and Eryu hasnt been born yet. Here we can see that after assuming identity of DongYue, she was still connected to young WenXin but adult DongYue is not at all related to young WenXin. DongYue could get hurt but young WenXin remains unaffected, while DongYue feels whatever WenXin feels. In the drama, Eryu met young WenXin after a war where we can conclude FengXi also died around that time. With that, it can be concluded that DongYue & Eryu’s mission was never to stop the war but to keep FengXi alive. Both of their existence depended on FengXi’s existence. FengXi didnt die, Eryu wont be born & wudnt meet young WenXi. WenXi wouldnt re exist as DongYue. When they succeeded in keeping FengXi alive, the original timeline was restored, fate was changed. Just back to Adult FengXi & young WenXi. No Eryu. No DongYue.
FengXi & DongYue being not recorded in the journals kinda seals off the loop. It was just confusing as to why everyone remembered her, in oriental odyssey they lose their memory. But yeah.. novelty

Young WenXin stayed by the 3rd prince / king side & was already studying martial arts. So it could be preparation of her being the general. Open ended

Undisclosed period of time after, a lady, similar to DongYue’s figure appears. Can be the grown up WenXin or can be DongYue herself, we’ll never know

I fell in love with the Male Lead. Im disappointed with the FL being so distrustful towards the ML. Her only redeeming point is that she’s pretty, strong and good with martial arts. Just the same i love the story. Every character was relevant & played well

This a drama really has a good potential & started really great but... it got boring. They dragged the love triangle way too long. There arent much development for the main actress except that she became a nobody to a lister actress. whatever that means. Started watching in youtube then the mgtv app. The subs are way so off in both. My mind has to do a double work in thinking what the hell they were saying. If u can find it somewhere with better subs then good for you. As a drama lover, ive seen so much plots & Id say there aint nothin new here. Seldom do we see a rich mom liking the poor gurl so it was cute but aint new. The stereotype was passed on to the friend though. Arranged marriage and wanting them to separate, name it, they have it. The tsundere was way too much it took 25 episode till they got together. They keep on mentioning that the lead was a younger version of the ex but seriously, they could've done more auditions if they wanna push that cos after reaching 20ish episode of hearing it youll get a tick in the ears coz the lead & the ex female definitely don't look in any way alike. leads have good chemistry but dont expect good kisses because this has few. They have the drunk kiss, then the shooting kiss, confession kiss , then the ever after kiss. Thats it. This drama has a bunch of hot actors. From male lead to the director friend, to the VP friend, the actor cousin. Even the a** of an ex is good looking. The female lead is very pretty. Not skinny. Just curves at the right places which was refreshing to see in her light color ensembles. To each his own, it was an ok drama. Just dont expect too much. I never rewatch especially if there’s way more better dramas out there

Ive come upon this series by accident. I clicked it instead of the one im suppose to. I admit i fell in love with xiao xiong at first sight. I thought he kinda looks like josh groban. Lols.. But im a sailormoon fanatic up until now so i said to myself, looks cool and kinda similar to the sailormoon live action. Ive watched it and finished it in a week. I loved it snd craving for more. I admit their acting was a bit OA at times esp xiao feng but thats where the charisma comes from. I love the inserts, the voice over explanations and the comedy here and there. Of course my one tru love is xiao xiong. He does his drama well and has that drop dead gorgeous smile. -_- My eyes almost dropped seeing those expensive cars at his mansion but fall to ponder how come he and the ko bad girls are always just running when they have all those cars around. I hate that xiao yang is over mentioned in the story but has the least scenes but i guess thats part of the story. I was hoping that the third evil sister, the bullied transferee was teacher wei yis's long lost sister and was just kidnapped or brainwashed since the principal's twin brother was also the one who killed and destroyed their kingdom. I hated that the story ended with no closure regarding charlie and xiao feng's relationship and xioa xiong and kate's as i was rooting for them. I hated this ended too soon for me as ive known thrm only for a week now im totally having a separation anxiety

I am a sucker for romcoms and i know they dont have to make a lot of sense most of the time and im fine with that but this drama is just beyond all the annoying clichès..
I get that their characters are poor bumpkins but it doesnt mean they should lack society etiquettes, common sense & workplace behaviors. The step mom was shameless & only knows money. Lets not forget the selfish inn owner who has lost grasp of reality. To add, there’s the back story that led to the revenge, a good man becoming bad, a childhood friend who was greedy & redeemed himself at the end, the jealous fiancee, one sided love of the magnanimous hot 2nd lead guy, bestfriend who’s secretly inlove with the male lead’s fiancee, the ambitious co workers, arrogant male lead who fell for the clumsy ignorant sassy kind hearted female lead. THE ONLY SENSIBLE CHARACTER IN THE DRAMA IS THE LIL BROTHER. A KID for heaven’s sake. Of course, the development in their characters happened towards the last 10 or so episodes...
Dear writers, can u pls stop writing stupid, loud, vulnerable, sassy but good hearted female lead. U can write them as naive or poor or sassy or careless but pls dont create a character with all the nega combos. Its no fun watching. I dont even feel bad at the part where all sh!t happened to the female lead because she is soo damn stupid or naive for her own good.
I have initially dropped this drama at 4th ep bcos of the annoying mom & inn owner but get to pick it up again bcos i think ive watched all there is to watch durin the quarantine and i got bored. Theyve dragged the drama way too long, couldve ended it at ep 20.. But no, they dragged it by overly romanticizing the female lead’s stupidity, as a love or business opportunity and even for the good of her whole community. have to fast forward so many scenes just to end it because droppin it again after picking it up is seems wasting my time twice. Quarantine gave me the fortitude to finish the drama. If u have a lot of time to spare and is not tired or overly sensitive, u can try watchin this. But if youre havin a bad day, i suggest dont watch this. This maybe a romcom with lots of eye candy casts but aint funny at all. Not even good kisses. Just suspended seconds of peck on the lips. Sorry just need to get this out . Lols

So watching zhong ji yi bian has become my guilty pleasure. I accidentally a linked to angel n devil n fell in love with teddy of spexial. Do i said, im watching you later... Then ive loved it. I craved for more so i decided to watch ko one return, finished it in a week. Then here comes ko one react. Honestly the story and acting per se, its not perfect but damn im so loving the cast. Im not into boy idol groups but i just loved spexial and their music tho most of their eongs are composed by korean. Oh well, i just love how friendship and camaraderrie among students are portrayed even the love n care of faculty and so as parents and sibling love hate relationship. The things that i hate are: ending, so theyve disappeared? Dadong lei ting and even wan jun.. Like, wtf happened there? Didnt king promised wan jun in ko one return if theyll make thru it theyll stay together but i didnt know what happened not that im complaining cos i love leiting dadong together., qiuqiu & zhan def looks good together, but qiu wiu said zhan didnt really like her then bam, no more. Then here comes yan yan , not sure cos yanyan def has her eyes with zhan but blushes with whats his name. And does anybody knows what happened to the driver who beat up duan ren chen? I think they just have to wrap the drama up so much loose end but id like to see whatever happened to dadong. So he didnt graduate after all. It would be nice if at least therell be sort of closure here but i think jiro is too old to be portraying a high schooler. So im watching x dormitory next while waiting for the rumored ko one 4.

I havent finished the whole drama. It aint finished airing yet. Nonetheless i’d like to make a review.prolly edit later if i find something new...

the recycled cliche everyone isnt fond of but present in this story**
- the male lead is of course a ceo of a company
- usual obstacle filled series. they are presented with problems episode per episode
- the female lead worked hard for her so called dream
-stubborn female lead
- there’s always a rich or influential female, an actress this time, who plots against the female lead because she has one sided love for the male lead
- a villain who hates the ceo plots against him & his company
- too kind that they forgive betrayalS (yes, plural)
- the voice they used for the male lead sounds like he has phlegm stuck in his throat
-drag.. its a good drama that couldve been better in 24-ish episodes. it starts getting boring at 20ish episode.

What i appreciate abt the drama**
- it depicts adult romance more realistically. In the real world, couples doesn't only kiss, hold hand & hug each other. they flirt & make out with each other, they affectionately & passionately kiss each other & yes they sleep together. they dont just stare at each other & kiss like two fishes who bump with each other.. It was shown in this drama
-lovers fight. Mature way.
-the chemistry of the characters. I know there’s been rumor abt johnny goin on since he appeared in Addicted Heroine but i dont care, thats his personal matter. Johnny & Dilreba’s chemistry is so natural, the way They held each other is so natural, the way they stare at each other & kiss each other if i didnt know better i think its real. At least based on my own ‘personal’ experience . It seems natural.. It made me hold on to the drama til now (ep 35)
-unlike other ceo’s who are poker face & walks around with bunch of secretaries, he looks quite normal & laid back sporting the Ducati & other expensive big-bikes in his leather jacket
-no rich snobby parents, just the regular asian parents signing up for dates
- u will have a friend that will have to move to a far away place & you will be sad abt it but its not the end of the world. its good that they didnt highly dramatized this part
- I love Qin Qing. We all need a friend like her. Although a lot is hating her because of WuSan, i just love the fact that she is rather rational than emotional
- Dilreba. She is one hell of a hot woman. I cant stop staring at her face. All the casts are pretty

For one, janice wu is my ultimate girl crush. So i may be biased. Lols
But this drama is good. Not much heavy parent drama (except for the figure skater). Kisses are real. Couple ootd’s & twinning was superb, who ever thought of doing that was a genius. DengLun doing cameo as XuFeng, his character name in ashes of love was like a parody.
I just love when they write strong female leads
I just feel a lil meh on the hockey scenes growin up watching mighty ducks, lols
Drama encourages team spirit, hardwork, Realizing your dreams, friendship & family love.

Ps: i laugh so hard i almost cried at the scenes steven zhang’s parents though he was gay

Although i enjoyed the drama, its the same recipe of they lived happily ever after. Not that im complaining just that 24/32 of hiding their feelings is a bit drag. When they finally got together, he’s either rustling with his childhood friend who likes him or she’s workin hard for her dream with both few minutes of them dating in the library or the sea or his house. Then they get their 7min happy ever after at the last ep

What i like abt the drama is that they equally liked each other, money was not an issue so no greedy relatives, they have cool set of friends, no nonsense drama except for sunning lols, it showed that LdR can work with present day technology and how they show the value of hard work and stated the fact that even hard work or your strong desire for something would not always go to your advantage. Of course there’s nonsense here & there like i still dont get if zhou an’s parents are divorced cos they live in separate countries, how med school in china is coz they seem to be in med proper straight from highschool (Human dissection at 1st sem , really?) but its bearable. Ive watched this later than love equation so im havin their feels here coz their college walkway with benches looks similar. Lols
It was a cute drama. Aside from sunning all characters were cute. Inspite being boyish the actress is very pretty esp when she became a doctor. He bff in highschool yaoli and lina in college are both pretty too. I may rewatch certain cute scenes but not the whole drama

This series id say was a lot better than go go squid because from a person who doesnt play any rpg or online games, it was quite easier to relate. The way that the game mechanics was played through out the drama, one not need to know that its all abt teamwork, camaraderie & strategy which was one good moral of the story. Teamwork makes the team work. It was nice that although the series lack the amount of romance from a romantic drama, its good to see the growth & character development of the characters. Youll see how theyve developed into someone better in their personal & career lives. If u like watching skinships or Sweet moments, this is not for u as there is little to none. Although the ml & fl became sweethearts at episode 25 and were With each all throught out, they were more friends as lovers which i think would work in real life. Oh, they just kissed one time & it was when they sealed the Bf-Gf deal. So dont expect more. Also, this is ine series where you’ld question yourself if laws exists in their place as people can just defame & do others malice in workplace & can get away with a suspension & termination, not to mention a sexual assault & attempted rape. All in all, this one of those drama series that started off with lots of potential but was spoiled midway. The over drag & evil scheming was a recipe of high blood pressure & boring episodes. It would've been best if it stayed at 16-24 episodes. Like i always say, to each his own so do watch at your own risk

SIMPLE, STRAIGHT FORWARD, LIGHT HEARTED

this is a drama where u’ll fall in love with the leads every time even if theyre in disagreement. The girl is cute, she acts flirty but thats just her being humorous & playful. She is kind hearted but not Naive or stupid. She knows what she wants although she can be in denial she’s also uses her heart & goes for it. She has way & charm with people. And Zhou Baobei (lol), even though he knows that BeiBei is tricking him, he just play along with her. This drama is refreshing & relaxing. No poor story, no overbearing in-laws. When i started watching & found out he’s a doctor & she’s an actress, i was celebrating. At least thats one overused plot i dont need to recycle. it started off as the usual arranged marriage but luckily they met on ep 2 & got attracted with each other. That made this drama more realistic for me. Their physical attraction towards each other. No fighting or accidental accidents (lols) just for them to get tangled, just her pursuing him. Then they just dated. Him taking care of her. And so on. Very fast paced. One of the few drama i wished they drag the romance a lil. I started watchin in youtube only to find out its not yet completely subbed so i was kinda forced to buy a vip pass in mgtv. With less than an hour of ep , u can binge watch this in 2-3days. Still have 2 ep to go but yeah.. Drama also shows that a Grand wedding ceremony aint really needed or at least it can wait, as long couples love each other & is happy. How i wish every country can be like china or any east asia that allows just registry of marriage & you'll be fine. No other dandy. Side characters are cool too esp his doctor friend dating her manager & his sister dating her ex admirer. In between, i also watch their bts & id be grinning the whOle time. Rewatching drama series for is a waste of time because there’s a lot out there, but surely this is among the good ones
