Yeah I Just finished Tale of the nine-tailed which is not so great... so it is so far so good for this one, it is really like watching usual manga (acted by real people) with the main character suddenly acquiring special abilities and saving the world. I like the background story involving to the 2 main leads as well. And it is so surprising to find out the SML is 51 years old-he is so ripped!

Chanced upon it on Netflix last night, binge-watched all the way to episode 4 - loved it!

Yes I get you - it is just as you said, it is a love or hate drama... there is a 10 rating review just before the 1.5 rating...

I am just very wary of senseless frustration...

I always think that it is nonsensical that if the characters love each other, how possible that they don't contact each other for 3 years, more so if they are in the same country? Unfortunately this trope happens so frequently in dramas.

Started 10 mins of this when it began airing, moved on to complete some other dramas then wanted to pick this up again - until I saw the ratings and some comments here. Is it really so bad and sad?

I just watched half of episode 1 and I get what you mean... her voice doesn't suit her at all and the dubbing is really very bad... just like Ruyi Pavilion or even worse. Maybe because you pointed out that I minded it and stopped watching. Lol

Yeah, I haven't watched any dramas from Li Qin and only recently caught the first from Bai Lu. Prior to that always thought it was one actress in the shows they acted.

Yeah I understand Mandarin, but I am actually okay with the squeaky voice :) If I had to read subtitles probably I won't see how the lips moves.

Episode 10-11 is so exciting then it became a bit slow again with a twist that is rather predictable. Hope the remaining episode are good again.

Watched the trailer, the CGI looks not too good. Besides that how is it so far? The FL looks like Bai Lu from certain angles. All 49 episodes released on Qianxun so not sure worth bingewatching...

As the dad said, it was an accident. This is quite typical of Lakorn when someone gets the blame for an accident. I thought that she died because she got captured or was about to get captured but... anyway I really hate GEF trying too hard in the show to make himself disgusting. Getting physical with Fang Ning which is uncalled for. The sister's death maybe a blessing, if not she'll end up with this piece of crap.

My current fav show. Fang Ning should be glad her sister didn't end up with that pervert Gao Er Fan, whichever reason(s) that caused him to be so bitter. I really hate in the show that he was quite physical with Fang Ning, just talk - what need to bump/grab/shake her? Sue him for sexual harrassment. Anyway the sister is so pretty.
